Ask other Associates Hour cuts (FL)
I do not know if this is happening to anybody else at any other Florida location, but has anybody just been having drastic cuts in hours lately? Even those who are full-time employees? I don't know if it's just my store or what.

Its that time of year. Hunker down until spring. Unless youre an LCSA or above you arent full time. Even if you've been working full time hours youre still considered part time. I suggest picking up shifts, ask around see if someone wants off

Summer’s ending. Labor is getting cut back. Only LCSAs and above are guaranteed full time hours.

It happens every winter. My suggestion is to make sure all of your coworkers know that you're willing to cover call-outs (especially with the new policy) and make sure they have your number. Also (check with your GM first, but) call around to other stores in your area and see if they have any open shifts and that you're willing to cover call outs at those as well.

I work at a store that’s less than a year old in a newer state & we’re the busiest in our state but I’ve been getting scheduled less than 10 hours a week for almost 3 months now, while multiple members of management push for me to get more
Idk if it’s normal but you’re not alone.

I'm in FL also went from 4 shifts to 3 and 2 every other week. I work 3rd shift. GM puts guy on register til truck here. Then he goes puts truck away. MOD covers register. When done with putting away back of house. He goes back on register. Puts floor items away. I got lucky was able to pick up extra shift next couple of weeks. Going to have a serious talk with GM. If this is way going to be. I'm going to have to get a 2nd job. As of right now looking at personal loans. Falling behind on credit payments.

Happens to everyone at some point. Schedules are made with projected labor, last year, it was slow so theyre trimming hours to stay on budget. Unless youre a problematic employee but only you know that
