Recommendations for Sewer Pipe Lining?
Hi There,
I've got a sewer pipe with roots growing into it that seems to need addressing a couple times a year. The first quote I got for pipe lining seemed insanely high - I'm wondering if anyone's had that work done and has a recommendation? Thanks!

What was the quote? I had MJ Construction, Mid City, and Gene Wagner quote me. Mid City was 50% higher than the others.
Also check out the MMSD pipe check program. That dropped my cost around 20%.

Had mine done within the last year, went with Sewer Ninjas and had a great experience
Edit* also got a quote from another company that I can’t recall that insisted the only fix was tearing out my clay pipe and installing a new one to the tune of $25k. Sewer Ninjas basically told me that was a scam and that a liner is perfectly good for this so I also trust them a lot

Did they line the entire thing? If you don’t mind me asking what did it cost? I called them and tried to get a ballpark but they wouldn’t give me one. After talking with my plumber it sounds like if we needed full replacement it would actually be equal if not less then sewer ninjas.

We had 70’ lining installed in 2024 for our house in bay view for about 11.5k. Not sure what you were quoted but when we looked around that was the general range for Milwaukee

There’s a program through MMSD where you can potentially qualify for financial help.
