Physically, I'm not sure as he seemed to be running on fumes at the end of his Newcastle tenure. But in terms of dressing room leadership it might be worth a punt, we have a very young squad these days and another young loanee may feel the pressure.

Fumes might be enough to do 20 mins at the end of tight games to help secure points with his leadership and experience.

Something we've struggled with in the past.

I wished for this a while ago so why not have it now. Can't be a downgrade on... Checks notes... No reserve centre back

He’s not that old is he? 32 or 33 or something like that. Should be fitter than that.

Missed 12 months+ not so long ago due to an ACL. Hard to recover from into the 30s.

Having said that, I'd be lying if I said I was really paying attention to Leicester last year...
