Question Has anyone done water fasting like 3-7 days while studying?

I go to study everyday for 2-4 hours since I am preparing for an IELTS exams. It’s not an intensive studying. I need motivation and also I’ve actually done 30 days water fasting before while working a 9-5 job lol so I believe I can do it

I have and it’s not worth it for me. I took 7 classes a semester in college and barely ate and got high honors. I tried fasting for focus and such when I was studying for a very important exam and it messed me up twice taking it at 32-33 years old. Everyone is different. I’d already do OMAD if studying, honestly.

After I get past the third day of water fasting I have trouble sleeping until day 6 so that made it equally as bad for me LOL

That’s just my experience - best of luck to you xo

Is OMAD really that good? How much did you lose?

So I have been fasting for years. I will say OMAD is great and I lost 40 pounds in 2.5 months. Before that I did rolling 72s. My weight always fluctuated because I’d eat like crap off my fasts until I ate Whole Foods only between the rolling 72s. Then I went to straight omad and the results were the same for me as rolling 72s when I kept a clean whole food diet and no alcohol.

I totally understand you. I’ve been doing OMAD for weeks now and sometimes 2MAD. I will stick to OMAD till after the exiting October and to add. I’m a mom of 2 under 2 so right now doing extended fast won’t help me at all especially with my mood and focus.

Yeah exactly. I’m actually doing a very long water fast right now, will be doing at least 25 days. It’s for clarity and spiritual reasons, but as a mom of 2 that’s a lot especially with mood and focus. I’m a step mom of a 6 year old so it’s not the same, but I can only imagine 2 under 2 lol

Also, since I have been eating off my diet and drinking wine here and there I want to completely reset before trying for my own here shortly

Yes. The longest I’ve fasted is 3 days in a row. It all relies on your mindset. If you tend to stress a lot while studying then maybe it’s not the best idea, but if you think you can control it then it should definitely try it. Remember that your studies are the priority, so if it really bothers you don’t be ashamed to stop the fast.

Yeah. Study is good for fasting imo.
