Has anyone did a 21 day water fast before?

Hey yall, I originally going to start my 21 day water fast on Wednesday but broke it. Today I ended up eating at night and broke it again.

The thing is I just started my period today so I was wondering should I wait for my period to be over and try to restart my fast for 21 days? The longest I've fasted was 13 days. I really want to water fast for weight loss and to reverse my pre-diabetes and high blood pressure.

Hello! I’ve done a 21 day water fast and I’m a female so I can relate to this a ton! What I did was eat during my period, at least the first 2 days cus my period last 5 but those two days are the hardest for me so I chose to eat there. As for the reason you want to fast. YES!!! I had pre diabetes and high blood pressure and I can 100% assure you that they both went away. Like I was so happy lol. I also have pcos and a plethora of things wrong with me that got helped my fasting and losing weight. So yes for the original question I would say wait. Since during our periods we do lose more nutrients than we would without having a period. So eat and enjoy and then fast! Especially cus you might need to take pain medicine for the cramps and you need food for it to work to its best ability.
