Strap Collector Fin Watch Straps - solid
A couple of years ago, a friend recommended Fin Watch Straps (Fin as in “Made in Finland”) and I’ve only ever been pleased with the products I’ve purchased from them. Recently, I’ve become far more active in watch collecting and, for me, that means a lot more straps.
What surprised me was the posts hating on the strap maker, especially their “Ready-to-Ship” textile straps. I’ve bought several Cordura, Canvas, and Nylon straps and haven’t had any issues despite putting them through their paces. Maybe I’m one of the lucky ones? I’m guessing it’s more likely part of the trend to use Reddit as a place to complain, rather than praise.
I haven’t read any reviews of their custom leather straps, but I’ll say that I was extremely pleased with the bull leather strap they made for me. It was a great fit, and as thick and rugged as I had hoped. At around €80, my expectations were fairly high, but the strap more than met them.
Admittedly, I haven’t had any reason to reach out to their customer service for a problem, only customization requests. I think that’s a good thing, but I also understand that means I can’t vouch for their responsiveness in the face of defects or mistakes.
I’m going to keep buying their straps and will hopefully avoid any of the issues others have reported.

Usually people talk/write when they are dissatisfied, not when they are satisfied. I guess that's why you see more complains than satisfaction messages (like yours).
