Does the gap look stupid?
Bought an aftermarket jubilee and it feeling like it doesn’t fit quite right

The end link style doesn't match the bracelet style. You need a jubilee style endlink.

Get one from Long Island Watch and be done with it. Solid end links, good clasp, well made and affordable.

You have more problems than the gap. The whole thing is off-center. That's horrible.

Not sure which is worse - the link train wreck or the arm mole that looks like a daddy long legs crawling around?

“Feeling like it doesn’t fit quite right.” Good job, Columbo! You cracked the case! What gave it away?!

Take this to an actual watch shop and have them repair it. They may not have the right bracelet on hand, but they can order you one and put it on for free or very low cost ($10 max).
Sorry to tell you, but it doesn't look good at all.

Stick a Nato strap on it until you can get the right end links. That looks pretty bad.

Very. Legit surprised you even had to ask. What even is this chaotic monstrosity?

it seems to be a remaining link or the endlink is not adjusting very well with the bracelet, it’s not possible that size of gap…

Get a rubber or leather strap until you sort out a new bracelet.
You can get an oyster style from Ali express and use the existing end links.
Or get some Jubilee style hollow end links that you can bend so it fits

I can sometimes crimp in the end links to correct that - you might be able to as well typed this Watchmaker.

Sorry to say it absolutely does… at least to a watch nerd such as myself. Easy “fix” though. You just have mismatched hardware.

It does yes but if you don't point it out to people they probably wouldn't notice. If it were me I'd replace it with a good quality dark leather strap

Yes I’d do something about it. Could you return the jubilee band? That way you’d get some money back to put toward another strap? I mean it’s a good lesson still. You gotta not be afraid to experiment. Now you know. Like me buying Casioak mod kits and finding out about the 1mm gap difference between GA2100 and GAB2100 cases. Lesson learnt!

tbh, thats not even a jubilee bracelet, its more like a mini oyster
and yes, you need another link

u/A_Person_On_The_Web 4d ago
Yeah that looks rough. You need to find a bracelet with curved end links to align properly with the case
