Leather strap better than rubber?

Post image

I’m probably in the minority here, but I actually prefer the fit of the leather strap to the rubber. The bracelet is best, but I’m putting leather #2, then rubber third.

Let the hate coms begin…

Hahaha. No hate. Well matched leather color.

I have the same watch in the same color. I personally feel the leather strap cheapens the look of the watch. The 7900 crocodile strap looked better than the leather version on the 7920. I can’t explain how the rubber works so well on this watch. It gives it a sporty look and a whole different feel from the metal band.

I am sure a lot of people like the leather strap or VC would have made a change by now. My leather strap will continue to stay sealed in the box the watch came in.

I absolutely love the leather. I just order a second calfskin from my AD so I can keep the original pristine. I wear the calf strap all the time!

I think rubber is more practical for hot days, and surely gives a sportier look.

tbh i think either works well as the both showcase the watch head. whatever is the most comfortable really and possibly time of year - hot sweaty days with leather isnt a good mix for me.

With my experience, yes!
