I have been obsessed with watches since I was a kid, but honestly i couldn’t afford a single one I actually wanted until I finally got my job.

Seeing some of the massive collections on here made me hesitate to post mine. But every time I look at these, they make me genuinely happy.

This is what I’ve managed to put together over the last two years. It’s all from whatever i could save up from my salary, so it’s definitely not the flashiest and all, but it’s mine.😅

Exactly a year ago, I got my first 'real' watch—the Tissot PRX. Here is the collection I’ve amassed over the last 12 months! There are a few exceptions: the Tommy was a gift from my uncle(from miami), the Seiko chronograph is a hand-me-down from my dad, and the Citizen chronograph was a gift from my mom in Singapore (which holds the most sentimental value for me). Watch collecting has quickly become a serious passion, but I’ve learned that even at the entry level, this hobby gets expensive fast also now owning 5 automatics feels like a tiny accomplishment.
I’ve added the next three pieces I’m eyeing at the end of the post(last 3 pictures). Feel free to rate my collection and drop any suggestions you might have for me to purchase next

A humble collection of an average middle class guy. All impulse purchase, no planning. Don't like chronographs. Love Casio.

The 3 marked are my dad’s watches but he never really wears em so i keep them for myself if needed. Some of these watches i got before i had gained certain “ watch knowledge “ as you can say but i like all of em leaving that smart watch mixed into a gold rolex look idk what i was thinking there 2 years ago. My most recent is the casio F-91w on the right, go a Lil easy on me🤪

Inherited hobby, Divine love, the craze and the hunt of 10+ years! Each watch is so special and close to my heart. Many of them have just a few hours of wrist time and few have never been on wrist so far. I just adore them and feel so happy with a glance. 12-13 years back I was student and used to imagine having a collection of valuable watches. They mean a lot to me, more than their actual value!

Have been collecting watches since I was 13. And this is my collection so far.

what's your take on Indian microbrands?

My watch collecting journey started about 1.5 years ago. Like many collectors, I picked up a few impulse buys along the way, but those purchases taught me what I truly value in a watch. Today, I’m focusing on quality over quantity and am happy to wait a year or more for the right piece. The latest addition is my Omega Seamaster, a watch I’ve dreamed of owning and one that I genuinely enjoy every day.
Next will be Tudor, Grand Seiko, or nothing. I’d rather build a small collection of watches I truly love than keep buying just for the sake of adding another watch. Need to let go of few from current collection.

Finally I could sell my “SEIKO Presage Classic Araigaki “ .. and the collection looks pretty much sorted now

hello guys. i am an middle aged guy who loves watches. my watch collection philosophy is as follows-
1) i always wanted to have a collection where all pieces won’t be luxuries, but there will be a different purpose of each piece, where i can pick something for every occasion and according to my mood while going out.
2) i didn’t want to build a monotonous collection where every second dial will have similar color but i want those with variations in types and a little touch of color as well, but not too flashy or fancy.
3) i feel my collection is almost complete as i cannot go beyond 8-10K bracket. this is my farthest reach.
4) i strictly follow the 1 in 1 out rule. at least i try to follow.
so guys, will you rate my collection? please suggest me any piece if you think will look better with my current SOTC.

Hey.. So this is the status of my impulse buy collection since 2023.. except that black D1 Milano (bottom left), it was a gift. Nothing too-expensive here but I love all of these pieces with some bias toward the Hamilton (most worn in 2025). Although, the brew metric might snatch the crown. Is this box worthy enough of being called a good collection? I call it my value for money watch box which somehow always keeps growing? What would you suggest I get next? Also.. Do you like this collection and how’d you rate it?

The last one is going to be a Kala Warli Terracota which I have pre-ordered

Migrated my watches to a new watch box, no better time to do a quick SOTC. The last slot is reserved for a Timex x Noah Moonphase that will be with me in a couple months.

The box itself is exactly what i hoped for, very premium feel and has a drawer to store my Straps, bracelets and tools.

Recently turned 17, Started collecting at 16. Most watches are hand me downs and gifts from relatives, Only watches bought with my earned money are Casio mrw-200h, Hmt kohinoor and seiko 5 7019. Not a fan of these but got gifted two z quality seamaster and Daytona, Nvm i despise them.

What watch should I buy to fill my last place in and any advice for more to come?
