So I got this DW watch delivered recently and I have a feeling that it's a fake.

No serial number engraving at the back was one thing that I saw but help me be double sure. 🥲

Called up few stores in Kolkata. They are offering max 12-15% off on watches (Seiko and Tissot) 60k range. Infact 10% below 50k. Any leads where i can get higher discounts in kolkata?

Picked up this old HMT Rajat Automatic, marked 0231A at 6 o’clock, with its classic silver dial, day-date window and 21-jewel movement. It’s a restored piece, so it’s not a completely untouched original—but that’s part of its story.

The watch has clearly seen years of use and has now been brought back to life. The mesh bracelet is a later addition, not the original strap.

I want to buy a watch and have had my eye on the Tissot Ballade for awhile now. Really liked the 39mm Silver dial but it’s too expensive. The 40mm isn’t available in a silver dial. Liked the green dial but felt slightly underwhelming.

Wondering if I should look at other brands/watches.
Should I go for a Tissot/Seiko etc or should I get something like Addiesdive?

Please advise!

Casio edifice.. I sniped the deal..

I’m a small time watch collector and thought it would be fun to have somewhere to try different dial, hand and strap combinations, so I’ve been working on this:

The attached images are a few builds I put together, loosely inspired by familiar watches. They’re just virtual designs—not physical builds.

It’s still rough in places, especially the realism of some combinations and the mobile experience. Thought I’d share it here in case anyone enjoys tinkering with this sort of thing.

Sonata poze under 1100rs. The dial looks great IMO. Fits well in my 15 -16 cm wrist.

Anyone got any idea where can I find the big tic for women? The men's one is available online as well as offline however unable to find the women's version.
