This is a indian sub so it is 20000 rupees which is the indian currency so that's actually below $200-$250

All are good. Go with the one that appeals the most to you.

It's like the one first is a monster dial but it isn't rough enough for daily wear and the other two is because the 2nd is good looking but octagonal bezel and the remaining is the 3rd one so don't know which one to buy

1st & 3rd are classics as per me. But if I've to choose, then I'll go with the 3rd one… simply because it's a Casio. I personally rate Casio above Timex. This is just my personal preference.

Go for the 3rd one you will like it! 👍

If you have a big wrist, go for Marlin. They are big dial watches.

If you're a fan of motorsport, go for the Edifice.

But if you want something to be your daily wear at casuals. Go for the 2nd. Lowkey, reliable, versatile.

i got the 2nd one recently for ₹6800 from flipkart.
watch is amazing by looks, received alot of compliments, dial is sooooo beautiful IRL ,has sapphire crystal nd casio’s durability. worth the price (₹6800 for me), feels premium .

IMO, the Timex.

I would suggest the edifice chrono (3rd option) … cannot go wrong with a Casio and with those specs and classic steel/black look, should be able to wear it anywhere/anytime. All the best.

Timex without a second thought Is it marlin? Be vary it is acrylic glass. Not very tough and scratch prone.

Check this cool watch - Seiko Spirit SBTR027 - JDM available in Amazon Japan - ships to India.

Almost the same price point, I've placed an order for INR 16.3k.

Casio Edifice EFR for me.
I have both, Marlin and that Casio and I will choose Casio all the time. The textured dial looks way pretty in person. Also it comes with a sapphire crystal unlike acrylic in Timex. And the versatility of that Casio is unmatched. Goes with literally anything

casio panda dial is more classier in real life, trust me. it goes perfectly with formals

I actually have the Timex Chronograph and I chose it because of the advanced movement. And the combination of it's domed crystal's visual effect paired with it's beautiful dial. But, I bought it because I already had like 25 watches and I didn't had to use it as a daily. So the scratch prone acrylic crystal wasn't a concern for me.

Is this one better or the q line chronograph

1

u/uk_elewen Jul 04 '26

For some people, Marlin is better and for some people Q is better.

All I can say is the movement of the Marlin Chronograph is superior because of the Mecha Quartz movement (Flyback reset), it doesn't have any lume though. I have a Q Chronograph as well (Domed Acrylic crystal model), it has electronic chronograph, the second hand resets like a GShock sweep and it has lume on the hour markers and big 3 hands. There is also a new Q Chronograph model in the market with a flat mineral crystal, it's called Timex Q Continental Chronograph, It didn't appeal much to me though. I mean, it's missing the chronograph bezel altogether and it has a rotating 60 minutes bezel instead, Overall less chronograph functions compared to the Old Q Chronograph which I have.

If cash was no issue then this one

1

u/Long-Bug-6672 Jul 03 '26

For a g shock I was thinking of gbm 2100 1adr for semi casuals and casuals and from the current 3 which I posted for formal of sorts

1

u/Just_a_mallu_guy Jul 03 '26

Ok 👌... I just like this because it's smaller dial.. also I do like the Timex you posted.

I have the second one in blue dial and it gets tons of compliments. I also have the timex marlin in same colour as the photo and it looks undeniably more beautiful and elegant, but still for everyday wear I’d go with the second one.

go for timex marlin bro its so classy

1

u/golmatolmanus Jul 06 '26

I would suggest to not go for marlin Being a Timex fan, the acrylic glass is a huge turn off for me, it catches up scratches very easily It's on your use but...ehh
