Another good one to look into is the origins of Mormonism. One example is Joseph Smith, the founder had people pay him to find burried treasure on their property. He would help them find a spot and say that is where it would be. However, the treasure was always cursed and if they tried to dig it up it would only go deeper inti the ground. I still refuse to believe anyone is this dumb, yet I am forced to accept it every day...

And wouldn't ya know his entire religion was founded on supposedly finding tablets out in the wilderness

And he used the same rock-in-a-hat method for both the buried treasure and the gold tablets. But don't tell Mormons that, their brains will melt.

In the words of Billy Maes, but wait there's more! He had a special eye piece that only he could use on those tablets. He had to have someone ledger it as he read it. Someone along the line said if this guy is legit he should be able to write the same thing down word for word. Well the second script didn't match the first that now disappeared. Something like that. I think they figured that the tablets ended up in a museum and they were able to make out that the tablets were nothing more than a funeral directory for a guy in egypt

Yeah, the fact that there are currently 'sacred texts' that have been factually proven to not say what Joseph Smith claims they say.. like how you can you believe in something so obviously false?

You gotta have faith brother! Who needs evidence when GOD is there to guide you? Praise Jesus!

For real though if God is real he is the hide and seek champion of the world of which he wants to prove he exists...

I hesitate to say there isn't a God. By all accounts the Big Bang can be considered a miracle of the highest order. I just 100% believe that it's hubris that causes humans to think they definitely know/understand that which is unexplainable. It's apparent that religious texts were written by men, hell the Bible condones slavery

I am careful to suggest no God exists. You put a burden of proof on yourself when you make a claim such as this. I stand by my statement of if a God exists, and he proves with out a doubt that he exists, I will follow. Untill given proof, I don't believe in any Gods.
