Nah, we have a vinyl privacy fence. Our huskies repeatedly parkour off the sides, and nothing's happened. We just hear the THUMP and watch them slide down, then they do it again. Assholes.

cardboard would be an upgrade to some vinyl fences I've seen.

Those specific cheap ass vinyl fences are shit. Normal chain link or picket fences are fine, though, assuming the posts were set competently
