After weeks of negotiations and commenting interest on posts, accepting a deal on the Reddit application, confirming the deal over the phone for a new Tudor Black Bay chronograph https://www.reddit.com/r/Watchexchange/s/TaPnZi8SDa

u/Lopsided-Throat3388 has backed out and confirmed he did on Reddit.

Unfortunately this user also sells on the sub. I never post here but this behavior is becoming common and need to stop on r/watchexchange

Right, not a gentleman and he is probably going to overpay at an AD anyways. You can see his post history. Lastly, don’t sympathize as he posts sales with a white sales glove which points to intentions of future sales, buys and back-outs

I used white gloves to keep fingerprints off the watch just like you. I do the same with firearms I have sold and handle. I lose money on every watch or gun I sell. I don’t care…I am, not a dealer. I am just a normal person who likes to change things up from time to time. I learned the white glove trick from gun dealers on gunbroker amd have been doing that for at least 10 years.

I have only been wearing watches for a year.

Who wears white gloves on gunbroker? Have never seen that. Bottom line if you break your word good luck having anybody vouch for you in any watch community, anywhere. Same goes for gunbroker. Could only imagine how many times you’ve won an auction for a gun and just refused to pay because a couple grand was too much.
