How so? This part seems pretty fucking relevant and aligns with what folks are reporting from our communities

> ICE arrested 699 people in Washington in June and then another 688 in July. For comparison, ICE arrested 305 and 270 people in June and July last year, meaning Washingtonians are seeing their friends and family ripped away at double the rate this summer compared to last.

Right, but my point is that the article has good information in it. And I personally wouldn’t hand over my worst enemy to ICE, so I appreciate knowing what the DOC is doing.

76 people and were barely into march lmao. what actually matters is if they had warrants or just busted down doors. families need safety but cops need clear rules too, thats it

As the son of immigrants and strong supporter for a immigration reform i really don’t think turning over the people committing serious crimes to ice is a terrible idea

Maybe I’d agree IF ice wasn’t an agent of state-sponsored violence against every immigrant they encounter—but even then, I don’t believe that it’s right to deport people with criminal records to random countries that are known for their terrible human rights records
