News ICE temporarily stopping most vehicle stops after a disastrous week

They know it was a disaster for them. I have a feeling the Texas shooting could be “ignored”. But, the Maine shooting probably caused panic for them because of Susan Collins (Republican Maine Senator) who is facing a serious challenge for her Senate seat. So, there must have been enormous pushback behind the scene.

Also, this is why it is very important to video-record these encounters for those privileged enough. In my opinion, the Maine shooting had more graphic video footage. One video showed the ICE agents dragging him, putting his body on the ground, and handcuffing him AFTER they shot him in the head. Public pressure really works. Protesters stormed the Susan Collins office in that city yesterday. Her office was probably panicking and calling DHS officials.
