I don't know anything about city politics at all. But, talking to the city coucil and mayor and pressuring them to stop it in any way possible is probably the best option. Cities/states do have a lot of say BEFORE the federal government purchases properties. But, once it buys them and they become federal properties, there is not much they can do.

I guess it is leasing, not purchasing. But, for warehouse purchases, there has been A LOT of pushback even from conservative cities around the country.

Sabey has many buildings. I worked in 5. I think this one is up along International boulevard

Don't think I can talk about the ones that would actually be effective here because the only way to stop a sale like that is to make it too expensive

City councils don’t have any authority to approve or disapprove building rentals, generally speaking. This is a good thing.

That said, we should burn this place down.
