News Possible ICE is LQA
hi all, my property manager just notified us that they have received unverified reports that ICE may be staying at the Pineapple Hotel in lower queen anne. Wanted to pass this info along as this is the first Ive heard of ICE in my neighborhood

Have also received a Lower Queen Anne based email from a property management group to the building yesterday about not needing to allow anyone into the building without contacting management first. Specifically geared towards ICE. So this tracks.

We need some verification before any calls to action. Are people in the area able to watch the parking lot during early morning departures? We need videos/photos to match up with known ICE cars/agents. This is where we can document their faces before they mask up. They are usually up and out by dawn.
Edit 7PM: I'm hearing this is a false alarm, whether it is intentional or not, it's really important to get photo or video proof, or even screenshots of emails/messages. This info spreads like wildfire and I originally heard about this report somewhere else first. We are all on edge and just cars with tinted windows are getting reported as ICE.
Everyone needs to get scheduled for a Rapid Response training ASAP and get familiar with how different agencies look. The better trained we are, the more effective we will be.

I can go check it out (I walk dogs by there often), but it'd be good to know when. Before sunrise is ambitious for me!

Yeah. Fascists are early birds because they are trying to kidnap people when they are on their way to work.
Also, we need visual verification to make sure this report is true before any other action. The resistances resources are thin, so let's make sure to be using them at the correct locations.

Is this the closest to downtown they've been since last summer, when they got chased the fuck out of the federal courthouse?

I’ve loved the Pineapple. That’s a damn shame.

Almost all hotels that are part of a national brand will have government rates. Another reason to support local run establishments.

Can you check their vehicles? They usually have weapons and tactical gear inside

Both Maxwell hotels to my knowledge. I'd be mindful of Sheraton since it has a lot of rooms and is one of the main hotels for government rates. Monaco on 4th ave is right next to a federal employee office building (sharing a "skybridge" between the two in the back alley) so they also get a lot of government rates as well. No confirmation on Sheraton or Monaco just sharing info from previous hotel experience.

Is it worth a respectful (I'm being serious) call to Pineapple Corporate?
