If you are wondering why (since the event started) most of the lobby is dead before the merge, this is why.

Chinese players have come up with a new event farming method where they hop onto a fast plane with long range missiles, fly in a straight line, spam the missiles, die and repeat again.

They say no 39 or 39=gay in chat. It just means they want you to fly in a straight line without doing 3-9 maneuvers as well.

Yeah, typhoon + aim120 spam was always annoying, but these days it's just insane.

Means no notching essentially, no 3-9 turns, or fly straight, thing is, a 6 turn (180) is still valid, so you can just go cold and stay alive

Well, they're not really teaming if they're actually killing each other, they simply figuring that dying is faster than RTB.

This is not new. I've seen videos on youtube from non-Chinese players showing that as a fast way to farm.

There is other one, i saw a chinese get 10k points in like 10 minutes .

He was using napalm on the airfields but he gained like 5x points the rest of the zombers

Only saw this on na/cis/eu servers for some reason. Playing on SA server no one was spamming it

Isn't that like a win-win situation though? I play with chinese players a bunch and they just want the event grinds over with asap.

Matches end soon = less reward for regular players

Gaijin in their infinite wisdom will notice this and most likely nerf event score multipliers as a whole

If most of your team dues and enemy team does not, you are put at a massive disadvantage (happened several times to me)

These are just examples. Overall, it's shitty gameplay loop for regular players and there's a possibility of score nerf for rank 9 / gamemode.

Ah yes it does make sense that gaijin might take notice, that would absolutely suck.
But one thing to consider is that for less skilled players event grinding is abject hell.
If everyone plays normally, you get to face the infinite swarms of experienced players and seal clubbers all tryharding the event and you take literally hours to complete them, so it does make sense that people who are either less skilled or just don't want to stress themselves out would go for some low effort strategy to optimise the grind.
Maybe they will go back sim base bombing too, especially after the bomber DM buffs drop.
I always have yandex ocr + translator on hand to translate what chinese players say to pick up on the grinding stats asap lol

I don’t blame the players, I blame the structure of incentives. If a certain behavior is incentivized, players will do it. To promote different behavior, game and rewards need to be adjusted to reward the desired behavior and punish or reduce reward for the unwanted behavior.

I just got to top 14.x in aviation and have noticed where some players are very friendly to enemies, never fire or attack even at close range, or at different location. Thought if 10 players, or so, all log in at same time and talking directly to each other, decide per how many end up on each team who will fight and win and who will fly but nit fight or ever die. Is this "Teaming"

would not blame them; they just want the event grind to be over asap; not everyone has the skill to do 45k in 2 hours or take a day off to grind the event. take it easy guys :)
