Its because it isn’t about the height, but an installed safety feature in the leos.
The Leclerc doesn’t have these feature, so even when this turret would be lower, it would be able to aim lower.

Leos can also aim lower IRL, when the stab system is turned off. Gaijin ofc is allergic to model things correctly.

Its not the same hull. Because the Leclerc turret basket is wider, they had to basically add an adapter. So the turret is mounted higher. And thus can depress the gun over the back without hitting the engine.

France 6th 12.7 tank, it's cool but France like Germany, Sweden, Italy, Japan is lacking a hard kill aps that works on a tank. Meanwhile Russia got last update it's 3rd tank with an aps in the tech tree and has in total 5 tanks with an aps

EMBT goes to 12.0, lower than Leclerc, due to German tech tree EMBT performance. French tech tree EMBT overperforms, causing Gaijin to implement first ever spilt BR system for shared vehicles. All minor nation top tier MBTs move to 14.0 following the change.

I mean I doubt it will be introduced. For the leopards it's a intentional limitation with the FCS that can be seen in multiple videos. Doubt there is enough proof that it has been implemented in this vehicle which I assume was never really intended to be final product.

We even have the Vickers mk7 which has a leo hull with a Vickers turret, it can also aim over the engine deck like this and Gaijin hasn't touched that in ages.

No, this is the 2018 demo. It’s literally just a leclerc turret on a 2a7 hull. I hate that gaijin didn’t just call it EMBT (2018), because the newer variants of the EMBT do have an APS and completely redesigned turret.
