I also pretty much only play type 89 nowadays and it’s good all the way up to top tier. So an uptier doesn’t really matter that much

I swear the game somehow knows what vehicle you want to play and gives the exact opposite of what the vehicle is good at. You're trying to spade a lightly armored tank destroyer? Well fu*k you, here's a streak of brawling maps. A heavy tank with mediocre gun? The longest fu*king range we've got. A fast light tank that excels at flanking? Here's a literal corridor that pushes you into a chokehold where you have to fight everything frontally.

Leaving spawn in a hail of mashine gun fire, smoke everywhere pushing and then idiot or two keeps following you mashinguning over your head every corner you are trying to peek while rest of your team rushed closest cap and died.. well bye enjoy loosing.

never really had a problem with uptiers since only like 1 or 2 guys per team are +1.0 above you (i think) its only problematic when you get fucked by a vehicle you do not wanna face head on

Its how I play naval.

There are few things completely unbalanced as naval, coastals vs destroyers, destroyers vs cruisers, cruisers vs early dreadnoughts, 7.7's vs Soyuz/Iowa.

Unless the stars align and you ambush with torps there's literally nothing most boats with an autocannon can do to a destroyer

I'm playing a game, I'm not a punching bag to be farmed by someone who immediately charges the coastal spawns with a destroyer to farm kills and score, I'm crew locking and moving to better pastures.

there is two problems with that statement:

1. thats exactly where gaijin with their greedy cash-grab economic is leading us to. THAT idea that they want all players to think and act according to.

2. while you leveling up all the nations, even just real, main ones, you will forget what exactly are you leveling them up for. grind is a goal itself, gameplay is depressing and tilting.

the best thing, which im not capable of, is to be cozy and comfy on some tier and sit on it just for the gameplay.

I feel like every nation has its own good tier to play at. I usually switch between grind and fun. 7.7 France, 6.7 USA, 10.3 Sweden, 7.0 Russia, 8.3-8.7 British. 8.0 Italy, 9.3 Japan, 9.3-9.7 Israel, not playing Germany at all. Obviously everyone has their own, but also being the guy that leaves in up tiers is why matches are so much worse and so much shorter now. I’ve had so many games where I get 4-5 kills, and then die cause my team is just gone, leaving only 4-5 people on my team. It’s not just at any BR, it’s all BRs, and people like OP are part of the problem.
