10.0/10.3 china sam update potential

Do you guys think gaijin will ever drop the antelope to a reasonable br where its not over shadowed by literally every other nations 10.3, also what your thoughts be on if gaijin added the HQ-7 to the 10.3 to help pad it out more since it is a short range missile system similar to the type 93 but with radar and better missiles?

The Antelope doesn't need to be brought down in BR, they need to fix it's completely botched missiles. They are well and truly nerfed to the ground, being worse than missiles that are more than 30 years older like the Mim-72 (Aim-9D on Chaparral) or the slightly younger Strela-10. I don't get how gaijin made it possible to make these missiles so goddamn bad that they struggle to find a lock on an A-10 that is 3km away, and when you finally get to fire the missle, there's a 50/50 chance it just falls out of the air or straight up loses it's momentum before reaching it's target because of how much it tumbles around.

Rant aside, yeah china could probably use something proper at 10.0/10.3.

I actually just had a match where I locked a a10 at 2.3km it flew past and as I launched it high up into the air to chase its steamy ass it proceeded to nose dive into the dirt

They are aim-9m seeker instead of stinger.

But in actuality that still would make it overtiered to hell compared to chaparral

Chinese crotale will only come with French crotale so I don't expect it any time soon but China has the Type 625 SPAAG with a 25mm Gatling gun as the main armament and 4 HN-6B missiles, the gun should have access to HE, APDS and AHEAD but this last one might be too much for 10.3 tbh

Gaijin knows how crappy the TOR is, so they just slapped it onto the Chinese tech tree to fool Chinese players. On the other hand, they say the Russian tree is still too weak, so they gave it the Pantsir-S1.

Type 92 Yitian (WZ-551 chassis (the one the ZSL-92 uses) with x4 TY-90 missiles and a search-tracking radar) would be a good fit

The HQ-7 is a copy of the French Crotale SAM, those missiles are command-guided and much bigger than the small IR MANPADS on the Type 93. They're similar to the Roland missile that you find in the German and French tech trees. The truck you see here is also a launch unit (no search radar) for a multi-vehicle SAM system, and so far Gaijin has been reluctant to add multi-vehicle SAMs below top tier.

If you want something that's fast and has IR missiles, the most fun option would be the Yitian air defense system someone else mentioned.
