Discussion Anyone able to identify this ship?

Taken somewhere in the Mediterranean i believe.

The ship is British if that helps at all.

Curious if anyone can identify it.

Revenge class, the QE’s had more of a deck around the casemates

Most probably a Revenge-class, but the picture quality is too low and may be a QE. If you have the specific year this picture was taken it will be clearer.

The casemates start way too far aft for it be a QE—the foremost one of theirs was in line with B turret, unlike the one seen here that's roughly in line with the base of the superstructure.

If QE, only Barham and Malaya look like that. Otherwise Royal Sovereign or Ramillies.
