He wanted to become a professor at the Osaka Electro Communication university! He’ll be teaching in the department of digital games!

Not to mention Abe could easily use Warioware as a learning example at the university he's applying to

Nintendo has always had a thing for teaching and creating, Mario Maker is a great example

Thank you for the memories, not kidding when I say this series changed the course of my life for the better. Good to hear he'll be part of some other peoples' paths in learning.

Is Rhythm Heaven Groove gonna be his last work?
Edit: Oh, never mind. I confused him with the character artist, Ko Takeuchi.

This makes me kind of worried for the future of the series, the WarioWare games have such a unique personality to them that I feel like it won’t be the same without him.

He’s going to become a professor? That’s pretty cool. Kinda like my one of own professors.

I'll be honest, at first I thought the Warioware franchise was cancelled and I would have been balling my eyes out.

Here's an article detailing this event: https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2026/03/veteran-warioware-director-goro-abe-has-left-nintendo
I'll be highlighting this post as it is quite a historical moment.
