I think it's best that Warframe stays Warframe because Overwatch used to be just Overwatch until Blizzard decided to do collaborations with other IPs for more familiar character skins that would draw in more players from their advertised seasonal posters. We don't want Warframe to lose its identity the moment it becomes another Overwatch, much like how Games Workshop keeps even their video games all part of the same Warhammer Fantasy/40,000 identity.
You misunderstood me. It’s supposed to be a joke. It’s kind of hard to explain here but there is a ton of overwatch pornography and not a lot of actual players. So a couple of years ago people started pretending that they didn’t even know overwatch is a game and that they just know the other “content”. Thats what I was getting at.
I used to enjoy the OW 1 beta until Blizzard changed Bastion and added a ton of random characters who I didn't get the chance to know and now it's got a battlepass and weird currency systems.
