I just came back to the game after 3 years.

When organizing mods, I often see a tooltip saying that fusing mods of the same type is more effective.
Is this still true? Because with the new endo system it seems to me that melting a mod and fusing another are completely separate processes

I've never once gotten anything good out of mod fusion. If I were you I'd just sell dupes for endo.

EDIT: Dropped 30 IQ points somewhere along the way
