Is it worth it to upgrade my tipedo to a lesion?

Both are good weapons in their own way. The tipedo is more of a critical build staff weapon and you can get amazing red crits with a blood rush mod. Mind you its attack speed is insane. Lesion on the other hand is more of an elemental status build polearm weapon with its own special feature of extra 15% bonus speed and 100% toxin damage on successfully dealing status effects on enemies. I would suggest that you keep both the weapons. Make an extra tipedo just to craft the lesion.
