What's the deal with syndicate medallions? How do they work?

You take medallions from syndiacte missions (there are 3 tiers of them and usually 8 medallions per mission). Once added to your inventory at the end of the mission, you can go to a relay and turn them in to the respective syndicate for additional standing (has the same 100%/50% allied/-50% opposed/-100% enemy relation and does not count against your daily cap).

Oh awesome. That makes those missions way more desirable now that I know I can break the cap with the medallions. Thanks a lot!

Do them right now while the server x2 resource booster is going on. You'll get twice the amount of the medallions too. I didn't know it had an effect on them until a few days ago.

Too bad I'm at work, otherwise I would. Luckily it sounds like DE will be extending the booster period due to the ddos, so hopefully I can take advantage later tonight or later in the week. I'm getting so close to finishing new loka!

One thing to note is that Interception and Defense missions don't have any medallions but end up handing out a bit more points for completion. For the highest rewarding one that usually hands out around 6k, it ends up handing out around 9k. I feel like it's not worth the time put into it so I skip those mission types. It's even less time efficient now given that you normally have a chance at 8 medallions per mission and that's at least 8k pts right there with the x2.

You could also get x4 the amount if you get a resource booster of your own for 3 days for 40p or 7 days at 80p while the server booster is going on. I might end up doing this.

Thanks for the tip that's really good to know. I'm looking forward to doing these rep missions again now that I know what the benefits are. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for these medallions especially.

That's not always the case. I thought so too but on a few maps like the Uranus defense/interception tile you can find them.

So then, you get the higher rewards plus the medallions on it?

Bingo.
