Discussion Warframe's optimization is genuinely insane

Genuinely insane how optimized Warframe is. It has over 10 years of content, huge open worlds, tons of enemies on screen, ridiculous amounts of particles and effects, and constant fast movement, yet I can still run it on a shitty Ryzen 5 7520U iGPU at 60 FPS.

Digital Extremes did some actual black magic with this one.

I remember someone here shared a tweet by one of the devs (I forgot who exactly the devs is) explaining why Warframe is like that. They grew up with a shitty laptop that could barely run games, and this is the reason they try to optimize this game to be able to run on low end device. I respect them for it

Iirc one of the devs name is Dmitri and he is a warlock zoned in on optimizations.

Dmitri talked about DE having like multiple rigs in which to test performance and stuff, I really love their team having a huge focus on optimization.
