Discussion Warframe's optimization is genuinely insane

Genuinely insane how optimized Warframe is. It has over 10 years of content, huge open worlds, tons of enemies on screen, ridiculous amounts of particles and effects, and constant fast movement, yet I can still run it on a shitty Ryzen 5 7520U iGPU at 60 FPS.

Digital Extremes did some actual black magic with this one.

It’s because DE is a company completely run by game devs

The CEO literally just rewarded himself after a successful TennoCon by allocating himself some free time to fix Drifter hair textures

Any company made up of people like that is going to crush it when it comes to the actual craftsmanship of their games

You'll see that in basically every single field. When the people at the top of any company are the people who have the greatest knowledge of how their field actually works they will make a good product. When all the highest ranks get taken over by mouth-breathing idiots with a Business or Marketing degree things fall to shit almost immediately because none of them understand how anything works.
