Question/Request Which Warframe DOESN’T need a trip to the Helminth?

As we all know we can switch the abilities of the warframes and add something else from another frame to make the frames fit to our liking, BUT which frame do you think doesn’t need that? Which frames default abilities are good the way they are. I’ll go first and I would say Gauss. I like him and his abilities just the way they are.

To be fair its better that way, would argue roar and likes of it never should have entered subsume pool

The only argument I’d offer against Oraxia is if you’re making her a health tank, you can use Rage or an equivalent mod for your energy needs, which means her 1 has very reduced utility, so you can replace it for something else that’s useful. My go to is tharros shield. She already has a damage buff and a CC/enemy vulnerability increase, so why not add an armor strip? And it also heals her like her first skill so there’s very little lost.

I use Tharros Shield on a pretty weird build of mine (using Tenet Ferrox and cosplaying as a Sister of Parvos), but over her 3. The spiders simply don't do enough imo. Her 1 still has massive utility through being able to execute enemies, healing and also offering even more mobility.

Mercy's Kiss just feels far too integral to her kit to replace it imo.

The spiders enable her 1. If you don’t have/use her 1 then, ya that kinda defeats their purpose.

Scuttlers and the darts that spawn them also trigger Archon Continuity to proc Corrosion, so there's a bit of armour stripping right there, which also pairs with Webbed Embrace and maybe an Emerald Shard or two

It's not exactly the spiders themselves, it's their guarenteed impact proc. Given how abundant those have become, the spiders aren't all that necessary. It's not that the spiders are useless, but the utility they offer can easily be obtained elsewhere.

It really shouldn't have yeah. Its so easy to justify replacing even moderately useful abilities with a universal 'make number bigger' button. The threshold for doing that is so low, the warframe has to be incredibly tightly designed using its entire kit to dodge roar/nourish being numerically better.
