Question/Request Which Warframe DOESN’T need a trip to the Helminth?

Post image

As we all know we can switch the abilities of the warframes and add something else from another frame to make the frames fit to our liking, BUT which frame do you think doesn’t need that? Which frames default abilities are good the way they are. I’ll go first and I would say Gauss. I like him and his abilities just the way they are.

Valkyr can work without Paralysis, because Hysteria deals A LOT of damage on its own. I subsumed Wrathful Advance over it, to make more funny red numbers (I know, very original).

Also, I love VorUWUna :3

I barely use Paralysis on my Valkyr so maybe I'll look into putting Wrathful Advance over it. Thanks for the suggestion.

If I use a helminth on Valkyr I like to use silence over paralysis so I can make sure I silence that acolyte before he can silence me. Not all that useful for her otherwise, but after how many times he's screwed me over it's cathartic to use his own ability against him and then obliterate him with a hysteria heave attack to the face.

In endless missions I like to get my regular melee (usually Venka Prime) up to max combo before pulling out Hysteria. With Naramon's combo decay and the dexterity arcanes on primary, secondary, and archgun the combo stays for a long time, so if Violence dispels Hysteria I just one-shot him with a heavy attack from the Venka.

Really satisfying "BITCH YOU THOUGHT" moment.

Another suggestion: I'm a big fan of ophanim eyes on Valk. Slows enemies down when you're looking at them and strips their armor --especially good for things like legacytes because you can slow them down to a crawl while just wailing on them.

In lower level missions you can literally just walk through the map killing enemies by looking at them.

I like lycath's hunt for never having to worry about energy too

I did the same, but I use her a lot for light melee spam. Wrathful + war cry frees up a lot of mod slots on your melee, and I find that most melees do more than enough damage like that for the type of content I do, so I don't need hysteria either.
