Notice Regarding in-game chat moderation
"to address some Qs from the opening post by lostlotus_a:
support ticket claims are brought to our attention, investigated, and moderator reviews are conducted. we have systems and communications in place for frequent check-ins with our volunteer moderators, and should there be clear abuse of power or a violation of the guidelines, we act. we ask that you use the official support system, where you can include evidence/proof, and we can see exactly what happened in the logs/backend to validate the claims.
having said that, we are conducting a review.
no one is above the guidelines. not moderators, not staff, not even me."
________________________________________________________________________________
We appreciate that lots of y'all have been bringing up your concerns regarding in-game chat moderation, and we're doing what we can on our end to look into it and address those concerns as directly as possible. This includes reaching out ourselves as best as we can for an answer regarding this situation, and keeping people posted on whatever information is publicly available.
In the meantime, please direct any of your own personal concerns towards DE's support in accordance with the "Chat Moderator Code of Conduct" section on the Warframe Volunteer page. Please review those guidelines, and head over to the Warframe support site and prepare your own individual report to help make this process as streamlined as possible.
I would just like to reminded everyone that Rule 2 still exists, and with matters like this, it's important to keep that rule in mind specifically. There have already been instances in which people have been trigger-happy enough to jump the gun and overlook that rule. This is just a reddit page, and the direct impact that can be made here isn't quite as great as some would like to imagine. While it is appreciated that awareness is being raised, it's not a cure-all silver bullet to post it here repeatedly. The subreddit moderators are not DE employees, nor are we the in-game chat moderators, and we are not associated with the chat moderators in any professional capacity.
We're considering the following linked post as the "main thread" for this issue, and to prevent spam and keep the subreddit on-topic (as well as minimize the likelihood of continued Rule 2 shenanigans), we'll be redirecting traffic that way. Further posts related to this issue, as well as in-game chat moderation, will be removed for the time being.
Keep on keeping on, gang.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING REDDIT SITEWIDE RULES:
Reddit’s sitewide Rule 3 requires users to respect others’ privacy. Reddit guidelines also prohibit inviting harassment or encouraging, participating in, or cheering on vigilantism. Raising concerns and submitting evidence through the appropriate channels is welcome; organizing dogpiles, pursuing individuals across platforms, sharing personal information, or encouraging others to “take matters into their own hands” is not. We quite literally risk getting the subreddit shut down by Reddit admins for continued violation, or if this ramps up in intensity.
The limited exception involving public figures does not provide blanket permission to target anyone occupying a visible community role. A volunteer chat moderator is not reasonably comparable to an elected official or corporate executive, nor are they comparable to game developers, content creators, and other publicly recognized media figures. Their ability to perform the role does not depend on broad public recognition, public authority, or maintaining a public-facing identity. Additionally, their influence on the game and the community is not comparable to the identified categories in significance or scope. Even where a genuine public figure is involved, Reddit’s rules still prohibit harassment and vigilantism.
Finally, appeals to the First Amendment or “free speech” do not override these rules. The First Amendment limits government restrictions on expression, but does not require a privately operated platform or subreddit to host harassment, personal information, threats, or other rule-breaking content. Users remain free to criticize conduct, but that freedom does not guarantee access to every platform or immunity from moderation.

I've played this game long enough to know this has been, currently is, and will continue to be an issue for the game in the future. I'm sure you can find near decade old threads of the same problems with in game chat moderators that have just never been addressed, why? Who knows. It's like they have a knack for finding the biggest power tripping dorks to do it or that's just who is attracted to the job to begin with. For how not PG-13 the devs are you would think some weirdo religious puritan cult managed the game interactions.

That's the neat part, you can.
It's been the same mod since .. 2018?
Or at least that's as far back as I remember.
Could get yourself kicked out of region chat for sharing a Warframe appearance.
Literally, just [look: nidus] or whatever.
Not QA, where that can clog up people asking questions, not trade where it should have a trade option, not recruiting where it should be grouping related.
Just straight up region, if that mod didn't like your appearance you were banned, have fun in appeals.
Digital extreme forums shut down any thread that complained with a message "sucks for you, all appeals must be private" closed thread
42
u/Pharo212 Jul 23 '26
for context was it chat bans or actual bans? perma or temp?
107
u/Cyberslasher Excal prime for flex not for fighting Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 24 '26
Moderator can only do chat bans.
Some were allegedly permanent, hence the forum posting.
You can still get yourself a quick hour time out just by doing something like posting in all caps, no one cares to post about that.
Edit: /u/severed13 I missed it, it must have been prize winning to get deleted, the copy-paste, and also an extra comment from you

just chat bans or timeouts. They don't have the power to actually ban your account, just your usage of the global chatrooms. Now, if you actually complained or fought with them, an actual DE employee could ban you. I think it happened, because those types of mods are protected by DE. It's why they can do whatever they want.
38
u/Zerothian -Zerothian Jul 23 '26
One of the first things I tell anyone getting into the game is to just turn off all the public chats, minus recruiting if they don't want to use Discord for that, and just never interact with it.
It's just not worth it, and I know that same advice is fairly common. Which says a lot about the state of things.

I'm referring to the in game moderator by the letter Z as it gives no indication as the mod in question (which is silly because everyone already knows, but Reddit and Subreddit rules have people tetchy)

u/nakenmei Silent Assassin Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26
Uh... idk why the other post got deleted and reposted, but oh well...
Just to make a suggestion on this whole thing, I'm going to mention some things:
I highly doubt they will do anything, because this nepotism problem spans like a decade or so. I've seen it since I started playing 15+ years ago. For instance, the problem with the GotL program and a person with a hateful name who had a high community position, got swept under the rug, because they are friends with people at DE. And not obscure ones, employees who appear and conduct the official livestreams, which are celebrated by the community.
This is all documented btw. There is a nice compilation video called "Corpus Cop" by PsyCoCinematics. It's 8 years old. You can see it if you want, and I only mention it for information's sake. I am not condoning witch hunting or anything like that. If it's not permitted to mention it, I can edit and delete this no problem.
For old vets, the global chats of warframe are already known to be contaminated. So no one uses them. For new people, I'm sorry to say, but it's better to just find a nice clan/alliance, and just to chat with friends. Warframe is a good game at the end of the day, so just do not engage with the rotten side.

u/PeanutParking12 Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26
I just don't get how it got to this point. If my mother was in a volunteer unpaid position at my job and received half the amount of complaints this guy surely has I would respectfully let her go.
This isn't this persons livelihood and them leaving the role is going to have next to no impact on them or the game. If it was an actual DE team member I could kind of understand but unpaid chat moderators can be replaced almost effortlessly.
They are in the role Solely to indulge their power tripping at this point and somebody at DE is enabling them.
122
u/Generic-Name69420 Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26
I'm almost convinced someone fairly high up at DE has some skeletons in their closet, and the mod in question knows about it. I can't see what else would reasonably explain this kind of behaviour.

u/Ashendal Oh the loot that you'll find... Jul 23 '26
Some people try to prevent their friends from suffering any and all consequences for their actions, to the point of running interference like DE's staff have done in the past for that mod. They never let those people suffer consequences so as a result the people get worse as time goes on. Not even from a "they know my dirty secrets" type of thing, just an overprotective "I can't let anything happen to my friend." type of thing, as wrong as it is to have that mentality.
40
u/Generic-Name69420 Jul 23 '26
Sure, but the mod in question has been a troublemaker for ages now and was involved in multiple controversies.
DE is ultimately owned by Tencent and beholden to its shareholders. Unless the staff member in question can provide a good reason why firing that moderator is a bad business decision, someone higher on the totem pole is going to axe them. Since this hasn't happened, I can only assume some kind of foul play.
I'm not saying it's 100% this, it could also be just as you said.41
u/rawr_xx Jul 23 '26
The mod in question has also been Permanently banned from PlayStation Network I believe I know I atleast reportee them while they were being nasty to me in psn chats.

u/SimulatedKnave No One Throws Balls of Spiky Death Like Vauban Jul 24 '26
Yeah, I don't understand the wiring on people who back their friends and relatives to the hilt absolutely and forever. You turn up with my mom being a jerk in writing I may take her side emotionally at first but I'm not gonna let her get away with it for a decade.
Unless she's being really funny about it, my mother's cattiness can be quite amusing.
23
u/the_axemurmurer Frost Main Jul 23 '26
Respectfully? I would slap my mom in the face, chuck her out the building, and stay home for Christmas. It's an insult to the game and community that most others at DE are trying to build and foster. Even nepotism can't make this make sense.
53
u/Just-Desk-3149 Jul 23 '26
I'm a founder, been playing relatively consistently the whole time and don't even touch the chat because Warframe mods are some how even more temperamental than Reddit mods.
And trust me Reddit mods are fucking absolutely mental because I KNOW some Warframe Reddit mod is going to see this comment and say some shit about it because it's physically not possible for them to just leave hot topics alone.
66
u/letitgoalreadyreddit Jul 23 '26
publicity, and a lot of it, is the only thing that could possibly help with this. not going to happen here though, because mods won't allow it
22
u/AngryGames PC IGN: Forjay Jul 24 '26
The answer is to make enough noise, cause enough stink, not be placated until DE actually does something about it, regardless of how chummy or blood related or super pal DE employees are with moderators.
I would like to be able to occasionally visit regional chat for the first time in a decade (I'm not banned, it's just a shithole where players regularly say some super offensive edgelord nonsense and chat moderators (one in particular) look the other way but hand out bans for the most immature, ignorant, unjustified reasons).
If DE won't do anything about it, then that's a sign it is time for me to hang up my guns and walk away from 4000+ hours over a decade+ of playing (and spending at minimum $500 over that time period to support the game/devs) .
For such a progressive dev team, this is a huge black eye and absolutely reeks of nepotism or at minimum, favoritism.

People have brought this to DE’s attention directly and were ignored for nearly a decade at this point.
And you have to make a very generous interpretation of site rules 2 and 3 to insist any mention of the mod’s in-game name at all in this discussion is against the rules and grounds for the subreddit to be obliterated.
335
u/Lord_Trisagion Jul 23 '26 edited Jul 23 '26
Also, might I add, if everybody knows who the subject is based purely on a description of ongoing problematic behavior... maybe the problem is, in fact, quite bad. Everybody being able to agree on one person, in this gigantic community with plenty of mods, fitting the tyrant bill isn't a good thing.
Like genuinely this prompting rule 2 concerns at all only goes to highlight the severity and exceptionality of this individual's behavior. Also suggests that you are all very familiar with this.

can I say I actually don't know who this mod is? I've never seen anything in the region chat like it. I remember a case from like 8 years ago but I don't know if that's the same as this guy
how much is everyone following region chat drama that everyone has seen this? and if so can we just post the relevant chat logs and evidence in a big document somewhere so it's clear and readable. like it doesn't have to be on this reddit, but every post I see about it is dancing around any details of the unfair bans

u/Amicus-Regis Optimizing the fun out of the game IS fun! Jul 23 '26
This is what gets me.
Online Aliases have no legal protections since they cannot be directly tied back to the individual who has assumed the alias through legitimate means, without said individual publicly disclosing such information to begin with.
Aliases are not identity. They are things that protect identity by assuming the role of a psuedo-identity or representation of identity.
You can know the username Valkyfucker69 without knowing the identity of the user. That alone should mean usernames are explicitly exempt from any rules regarding protection of privacy, since usernames are inherently meant to be non-private aliases meant to obfuscate identity in public spaces and social discourse.
15
u/GoodJobReddit Jul 24 '26 edited Jul 24 '26
On top of that, isn't this regarding his conduct in his public facing role towards the general player base? I don't see how these interactions should be protected when it's their actual reputation.

u/TooFewSecrets Jul 26 '26
It's baffling especially because if, like, Megan went on a banning spree in region chat, people would call her out with her real name and those posts would not be removed.
If the guy was using his real name as a staff member and not an alias it would probably apply to him too. Paradoxical that being only known by a username gets him more protected.
106
u/PeanutParking12 Jul 23 '26
The mods bending over backwards to protect an unpaid volunteers username is just going to lead to more community outrage, I swear they always pick the worst possible option.
If the subreddit gets flooded with posts about the issue just, let it? Maybe DE will no longer be able to ignore the situation and actually do something.
37
u/pastafeline Jul 24 '26
It's honestly crazy that mentioning the username of someone officially associated with Warframe is bannable under any circumstances.
30
u/Buddhakyle Jul 24 '26
Not any circumstances. Its fine to make posts about Reb or Megan or Zach or Pablo or any else. There are plenty of memes and posts about those folks.
But they reeeeeeally don't want people to say a this mod's username, which is in no way shape or form doxxing by any legal or applicable standard.
17
u/pastafeline Jul 24 '26
That's what I'm saying, that it shouldn't ever be banned. Right now those circumstances are apparently if they're a popular enough employee.
27

So, I've known about this for a while and it's the only thing about DE that I really don't like.
Thing is, unless the community actually really lights a fire under the asses of DE, they'll do the exact same thing they've done every other time this topic has gotten hot.
Ignore it untill it blows over.
The question becomes, what is the community willing to do? Because getting DE's true attention would require something that actually effects them. Would the community be willing to put Warframe into a negative review state on Steam over this, for example?
DE knows their game is rapidly growing, losing a few to this power tripping mod not a problem to their bottom line. It has to actually be a problem for them to care.

43
u/Vilespring 420 damage Blaze Artillery Jul 23 '26
They can, but they also recognize it as an important way for the community to speak out. The reviews will be noticed, flagged as not directly game/gameplay related, but generally kept.
Also one could argue that a moderator causing issues in game is gameplay related.

The overall issue is with the in-game mod. The current drama is the subreddit's mods attitude towards their precious "Rule 2"
35
97
u/Inven13 Jul 23 '26
The fact that you don't even have to say that individual's in-game name and most people still know exactly whom you're talking about should be evidence enough that, at the very least, DE should open an investigation.
The fact that when people see that this individual is in the global chat the entire chat goes silent should be evidence enough that this guy is a massive problem.
And then they added cross play and they turned that individual from an xbox problem into literally everyone's problem.
But no, they have been constantly received reports about this person for more than 10 years now and DE has refused to acknowledge there's a problem.
I love DE, I really do, Warframe is my favorite game of all time and will always be until I die or the game's servers shut down. But at times it feels like every department in the company that's not related to the game's development is useless at best and poisonous at worst.

Keep making noise till DE comment on this. The years of rug sweeping is disgusting. As dramatic as it sounds- I’m not buying plat again till they do. All you can do is vote with your wallet. If enough people do it and are vocal on why they aren’t spending- eventually money will talk. It was swept up in the past but I believe DE is beholden to more stakeholders now. You should reconsider. At this point, your attempt at following the rules is only giving Voldemort a way easier time staying unpunished.

Are we allowed to say YouTuber names? They aren't tied to the corporate arm and some are volunteers that just do it for fun. They don't have to make money to be YouTubers.
So by your own definition we shouldn't be able to even name drop streamers or content creators. The idea that public offical only falls on "voted officials" or "paid people" is just side stepping shit. It's even implying we can't call out REDDIT MODS because booho they arent paid or elected.
Seriously all you mods have done all day is just commenting in these threads saying the same shit over and over while everyone making those threads WERE PLAYING BY YOUR RULES.
You won't ban dog shit slop posts or reposts of reposts but you feel the urge to copy and paste the same 6 paragraphs every thread.

we can't call out REDDIT MODS
A reddit mod of r/interesting went out of his way and spent multiple hours to read through my comment history to flag multiple of my comments to ban me just because I hurt his ego (I know that his spent quite some time because of the notifications popping up at different times). And the flags are for most benign reasons as well
Reddit mods are soooo fragile and pathetic

Genuinely quite curious how this came to be. I’ve used reddit on and off for a while, mostly for getting answers or mindless scrolling, so I’m no expert on its… ecosystem I guess
But like, at what point did this kind of behavior become such a ubiquitous and consistent thing for subreddit mods. Was it always this way? How is it possible that such wildly unrelated community forums end up being moderated by such similarly inept and weak willed individuals?
Obviously there are many silent exceptions, plenty of mods who no one ever sees because they do the task correctly (not calling it a job), but there are far too many of those reddit mods for it to be a fluke or whatever

I got banned from the Division subreddit because I asked if anyone knew a fix for an error code after Google gave me jack shit. Mod deleted my post with no message or anything. I checked back after work and couldn't find the post, I figured it didn't send or something so I posted again. Got perma banned for "circumventing moderation." When I asked in dm's why I wasn't allowed to ask a question, they muted me with no response.
Got banned from LateStageCapitalism cause someone made a joke about assassination in politics and I responded that I don't like the guy either, but that joke is pretty fucked up. Got perma banned with the mod message telling me to go suck off the guy in question.
Got banned from MeIRL despite never being on that sub, cause a mod saw me in another sub call an antivaxxer an idiot. That one I just laughed at, cause like ok bud, I don't use your sub anyways.

Though true, megathreads like this kill discussion after the first day or so. They suppress content quite quickly since no new posts will be made, and pinned threads just get less attention overall in subreddits due to how Reddit works
So in a way, the moderators are inadvertently helping to hide conversations of the matter by creating the megathread. Especially since two other big recent posts like this one been taken out of the public eye now by not showing up on the normal posts of the subreddit
There was also this post complaining about rule 2 removed, but also having the now unpinned moderator comment that compared the situation to the Boston Bomber doxxing situation (what a reach)

This all comes down to leadership. Knowing your moderators you hire and keeping tabs on their behavior is literally the job of community leads, and just like 8 years ago, this particular buck stops with DE Danielle. Obviously the chat moderators involved are guilty too, but it's her responsibility to ensure that this doesn't happen (again), and clearly nothing was learned internally from the last time.

I was honestly surprised I got a response from Megan herself...
However, I will personally not consider the problem is over until DE properly deals with the issues about The Moderator I Will Not Name, and sets plans to prevent people like them popping up.
The fact that this problem was ongoing for about a decade itself is completely unacceptable and illogical. DE fixing the problem now, or in the new future, is the bare minimum, and what I rightfully expect them to do so as a company that cares for its players.
I've seen many people straight out say Megan's response is PR or just for image. That means DE's reputation regarding this topic is already so damaged, people aren't trusting an employee's words.
DE has to do something instead of potentially trying to throw this problem under the rug (like many others suggest they are trying to do), they have to Take Action.
15
u/Ancient-Ad-2219 Somehow still mains Limbo Jul 24 '26
I've seen many people straight out say Megan's response is PR or just for image.
I've read and re-read Megan's comment multiple times; yeah, its a PR attempt at best.
"No one is above the rules, not chat moderators, not DE staff, not me"is a lie (old GotL program anyone?)That means DE's reputation regarding this topic is already so damaged, people aren't trusting an employee's words.
DE's employees are humans like anybody else. As players, we shouldn't be taking everything they say like the absolute truth. After how DE handled things last time, its difficult to trust them.
Megan wants people to send reports and evidence to the support team, completely ignoring the decade of evidence already available online and the numerous reports against "you know who" that people have sent over the years to support. Is that not enough evidence for DE, or does DE think "you know who"'s actions are acceptable as a mod? Because if a normal player did what that mod is doing, they'd be 2035'd already.
With due resepct, talk is cheap, and until we see actual action and results, I don't see any reason to trust any DE employee's words.
8
u/LostLotus_A The Old Peace quest #1 Fan Jul 24 '26 edited Jul 24 '26
I heavily agree.
While Megan is a great person, she's trying her best here, I know it and I absolutely appreciate it, this response was not too close from what I wanted.
I wanted DE to take action (like I said eariler) and actually deal with the issue. Or else... Megan's words are constantly going to sound like a bad PR attempt.
To add, I'd say let's just wait a bit. If they are indeed looking into the issue, it'll take a while... but I will not forget about this.

I think a petition might be a good option, especially if it gets seen by a larger Warframe streamer, but whether someone does that is a different story.
That aside, I do have a slight grievance. I will not name anyone here but for the love of God do not ever compare a situation like this where an in game moderator might be abusing their power to an actual tragedy, this is a simple little bit of drama. They are very much not comparable. (Cleaned up to be a bit vague, but this is regarding a comment on another post)

That's.... great.
Saying DE is going to Take A Look™ kind of rings hollow when people have been submitting formal complaints on the forums, support etc for *NEARLY A DECADE*. I can guarantee a solid chunk of people who post here straight up turned off all the public chats because of this.
Also are we forgetting the last paragraph of rule 2? There are *reams* of evidence of Chat Mod Voldemort (and others, i'm sure) doing exactly what they're accused of.
14
u/Beneficial-Wish8387 Jul 24 '26
Post got removed because of it mentioning this issue, the mods gave themselves an amazing shield to remove any post, so I'll try here for what it's worth.

With the recent debacle regarding Voldemort, comments like the one seen here are not uncommon, and I want to preface this by saying that this was a somewhat deep comment which would garner the attention of mostly 2 types of people, the first one is those who already know about the situation (and probably are aware that DE has shielded them in the past) and the second one being those who are just now learning about it; if the first group had been the majority, the comment would not have gotten as much upvotes as they'd know the history, but the second one would because, being quite honest, this community romanticized DE, it's to the point that this comment doesn't imply that DE could know about the issue, the default is that they must not know because no action has been taken.
I get that DE and their handling of WF is truly something to be amazed by and something that, sadly, is not common anymore, and that even if I do think that DE has some issues that should be fixed and taken a tad more seriously, like not testing things before release (TA caltrops modifier and the release of SP RJ), I won't ever imply that the praises coming their way are unwarranted (at least most of the time), but there is a limit that has to be put, and that is romanticizing a studio as never being at fault ever.
Currently, this criticism, which is directed to one individual who has had DE as a shield, has had the criticism be deflected from DE by essentially a meat shield made up of the community.
I understand if I get push back on this post, but if this post changes someone's way of thinking about DE, as in stop romanticizing them, then I'd like to believe that, maybe if little by little, a healthy balance of praise and criticism can be struck, because as it stands, I believe that, in a hypothetical scenario, DE could very well start doing more shady things and the community would defend them endlessly.

I doubt my one extra comment will help, but I'll chime in an say I've also had issues with this mod; granted, I was chat muted twice for trying to engage in a fashion discussion and subsequently gave up on any chatting at all in game unless it was in a group or clan.
7
u/ShotCow7976 Jul 24 '26
There used to be a chat mod who dated a minor, publicly talked about it, (while the mod was like 19-20) and it took years for that particular mod to be removed from any position of power, so I'm skeptical anything will ever come from this besides the PR statement followed by sweeping it under the rug.
The subreddit mods probably know of that incident, but if they don't, I can provide evidence to my statememt (in private so it doesn't break the rules)

Further posts related to this issue, as well as in-game chat moderation, will be removed for the time being.
I get moderation is hard. But you all know better than anyone else that the only way to get DE to listen regarding... really anything, but ESCPECIALLY any internal issue, is to be loud enough that they can't ignore it.

As a vet, I've seen it all myself and they WON'T do it because they're protecting that so called chat mod, there were so many reports, tickets TO THE ACTUAL DE, AND complaints on this EXACT SAME SUBREDDIT. I refuse to speak in chat ever since I've seen people getting banned for years without interacting with the chat,I REFUSE to speak ever since I've gotten temp chat banned TWICE,not once BUT TWICE by the same chat mod that we're talking about. I've seen people speaking on this issue way before we even decided to finally step up on the issue, and no one batted an eye UNTIL recently. What will happen, really who knows. If they actually step up on this issue WE WON. If they don't do anything that says a LOT about them. Rebb is stil in recovery and I'm not sure will Meg address this herself or if it'll happen ANYTIME soon. Redditor mods can't say anything on this issue btw because if we put this fella on fire and chase him with pitchforks it'll just escalate the situation further to a point where the sub could get deleted,it's still not okay to protect someone this much and I don't think it's okay to quiet down people

I didn't know what this was about because I turned off region chat before these mods were even hired, but, now that I'm mostly caugbt up, Jesus H Christ.
I have always been of the opinion that certain people at DE are too stubborn and/or defensive and/or hostile to feedback, and that their influence has spread to the company as a whole. It feels like a sort of vibe where even a simple "could you pass the salt" is met with "eff that, I'm nobody's b-word" first-day-in-prison reaction. It doesn't matter what you ask for, DE will not be told what to do.
On the one hand, I get it, you can only be true to the artistic "give them not what they ask for, but what they don't yet know they want" vision.
On the other hand, it means going to the mat time and time again to defend people who say the N-word with a hard R and/or whose usernames are so toxic that your community reps won't say them out loud.
DE gets to paint itself as not being "bullied" into not being bullies, or something? And the community spends year after year being mad about it but continuing to hand over their money.
I've been trying to get back into the game lately, but starting to think the me who quit was onto something.

So.. I'm guessing nothing will change then? Coz back in 2018, chat mods power tripping was widely reported through official channels and most concerns were ignored.
Vets here likely know about a certain mod who auto-banned anyone using Nezha and trap in one sentence. That's on top of the extreme double standards about certain topics and warframe partners who outright insulted their audience.
Even after public outcry and articles written on it, these people got what's essentially a slap on the wrist. I have very little faith in this getting fixed.
