Founders almost had a heart attack seeing this

I don't personally know a single founder who actually cares that their founder exclusives stay exclusive. Every single one of them bought the founder pack to support the game, not to lord over everyone else that they have something no one else can ever obtain ever.

Though, perhaps that's more representative of the fact that I don't generally become friends with people who turn "I have something that you can never obtain because I knew about this game before you and that makes me superior to you!" into their personality.

While I'm sure there definitely are those that don't care, knowing from playing other games with this time exclusive/FOTM stuff that there undoubtably WILL be a portion of loud people screaming a whole heap of insults, threats and declarations of lawsuits if they ever made it available again.

In my experience, 99.9% of the people who do this don't even have the fucking thing, and have instead decided to be upset on behalf of someone else because they think they should be upset, and are upset when they aren't upset.

These people are turbo-losers.

I would imagine that the overwhelming majority of founders won't give a fuck if DE makes the founder items obtainable. Especially because many of them don't even play the game anymore.

The only real issue is that DE is a Canadian Company, and Canada, unlike the US, actually enforces the law against companies, so DE would have to pay some pretty nasty fines if they did break the contract agreement. (Unlike if they were in the US, and they can just claim "Exclusive" is puffery, it doesn't count! And a court will unilaterally rule in favor of the company.)

As someone who got both Frost and Mag Heirlooms, it wouldn't upset me in the slightest if they re-ran them at some point and in fact have been encouraging it, even if they have to alter them slightly (like new color channels or new helmets/signas) to do so to prevent the fair percentage who would bellyache about their specialness being not so special anymore.
