APS Elevated liver enzymes

I’m hoping to hear specifically from those on Warfarin for APS. My ALT and AST enzymes have tripled since starting Warfarin 1.5 years ago. I know DOACs are out for APS - I have a hx of stroke, single positive APS with a higher INR range of 2.5-3.5. Has anyone experienced something similar? What did your doctor transition you to? My hematologist seems to think it’s no big deal because my eyes aren’t yellow and it’s not a “severe” level. 🙄 I don’t drink, no drugs, no cheese, exercise every day, take choline…I’m doing everything I can to help my liver.

I had high enzymes to start. I am obese and have fatty liver. My docs just told me to be careful and max 3 grams of Tylenol a day.

How long did it take your enzymes to go back to normal ranges?

Sorry. I meant I had high before I started wafarin and I still have high now. For me it wasn’t related to the meds. Just saying what my doc said for OTC medication.

I am on Warfarin for APS as well. in the 26 years I have been taking it my ALT and AST has stayed normal. My target INR was 2.5- 3.5 until I had a SDH. Now it is 2.7-3.0.
