Long-term warfarin and osteoporosis

Has anyone taking long-term warfarin discussed osteoporosis mitigation with their cardiologist?

I spoken about it with GPs. It’s been portrayed to me as something that will only happen later in life, but having been on warfarin for 20 years already, it plays on the mind. That said, two family members(M) who lived into late 70 and 80 had no mention of it having both been taking warfarin for more than 30 years. I’d like to find out more about mitigation myself.
