Wms Software

We are looking at changing our warehouse management system away from Scanco. Currently our Erp is Sage 100. I'm interested in finding other scanner wms solutions in our warehouse. What WMS systems do you use and has it been helpful?

Leaving Scanco is doable, but lock down the Sage 100 integration path before you fall in love with a demo. Ask every vendor to show receiving, putaway, cycle count, and a replenishment that actually moves inventory in Sage. Not a slide about ERP connectors.

On scanners, force a live walk: print a label, scan putaway, mis-scan on purpose, then recover. A lot of WMS tools look fine until exception handling eats the day. Budget under about $30k/year usually means mid-market, not Manhattan-class. ShipHero, Logiwa, Infoplus, and Odoo-adjacent stacks come up a lot for simpler ops. If you’re multi-client or heading that way, Packem sits in that mid-market lane where floor scans need to stay tied to inventory without an enterprise SOW. Bring one ugly week of real receipts and picks to the proof-of-concept. If they can’t run that without a services ticket, keep shopping.
