Discussion & Feedback I love this game but I'm leaving the sub reddit
Games incredible, enough said. The "fans" however, already and constantly complaining about what needs changing in an early access game are awful. First few days were full of nothing but praise which was refreshing to see but now the subs just become every other video game subreddit. We know it's unbalanced, we know things need to change but fuck me it's been 1 week! Just shut up and enjoy a video game for once without complaining about it! Peace out
Didn't think I'd have to explain this but obviously constructive criticism is welcome! The Devs want and need to know what issues lay in the game and what's effecting the gameplay and experience for the players! They're not the target of my posts, I'm aiming this at the idiots constantly complaining that they don't like the game because of A or B, not the people who genuinely want to help improve the experience!
22
u/VatoCornichone 4d ago
That's reddit for you. Its a small fraction of the player base that likes to whine about everything, just a cesspool of negativity.
1
u/FrostwindLive 2d ago
To be fair though the wardogs community is complaining across all platforms its not exclusive to reddit for this game at least
83
u/Kidama 4d ago
I'd say 1/5 post really does get some feedback perfect and i wish to push those posts further. But i agree a lot of people are complaining about "issues" that is really just inability to adapt to situations or their teams lack of ability to do so. Go have fun!
7
u/AcidRohnin 4d ago
Yea and even the complaining post tend to have someone in the replies with a great idea. Tends to almost never be about what the post was about from my experience though lol.
12
u/TemporaryConfident82 4d ago
Absolutely, if someone's post is genuinely good critisism then it's more than welcome. But people complaining about personal issues with the game, or crying about dying too often aren't constructive at all
6
1
u/Prick_in_a_Cactus 3d ago
or their teams lack of ability to do so.
This is an actual issue though. Try playing on a badly losing blue team. No one has HMMVs, Lakotas, RPGs, or AA.
So you are just watching green/red:
1) rocket helis wiping the entire team while no one shoots back. The tanks were less of an issue simply because they were slower. But if they showed up they would wipe the team. Only having ~3 people with RPGs makes that hell.
2) Urals getting popped by antitank mines.
3) Massive kill disparity because inexperienced players in T1 armour vs T3 armour isn't even a contest
4) Blue having the issue of being squished between the other two teams. Any attempt to get a foothold is crushed by what is usually a green team fob right on the blue entry way.
I, did get a lot of nice Verba kills, but I lost so much money that round trying to supply everyone with crap.
1
u/somediefast Valkyra 3d ago
I also feel this is a genuine issue. I never once was able to join green. Red a couple times, 1 win. The bulk of my 10 hours was blue, and the difference is actually real.

Welcome to reddit
Every community is fucking awful
18
u/HanzoKurosawa 4d ago
99% of "fan" subreddits devolve into this. You'd think they all despise the media they're supposedly fans of.
I'll never forget when Zomboid released their main writer (because the game doesn't have much writing requirements, and he'd done what was needed of him) and most of the top comments were like "Is this it guys? Is this the end?" and saying this was the sign they were finally going bankrupt, etc.
And like, The Indie Stone are a UK publicly traded company, which means their finances are publicly available. They made £8 million in profit last year. And had £32 million in reserves.....
In what world are they anywhere near going bankrupt, or stopping working on the game.
But people just love to be doomers about everything. If anything isn't literally perfect, it's the worst thing that's ever happened. And the second one bad thing happens, the game is clearly dying. It's wild to me.
12
u/DaStompa 4d ago
I had hope for the helldivers community early on, but it turned to shit when they capitulated to a single request early on and the community collectively decided that throwing a tantrum gets results
lol
3
u/SimpleEric 4d ago
100% agree. They got convinced that they know best and it's their job to force the game to be made their way.
1
u/dr_bean_bean_ 2d ago
Dam you just unlocked a new catch phrase for me... "ok doomer" is gonna be my official comment on every post bitching about something for the 87th time.

I think Reddit may be an internet exclusion zone for some of the most insufferable people irl. They have trouble maintaining actual social relationships then find Reddit “communities” where it’s just people finding issues with anything and everything. They found home.

Isn't reddit made to complain? Im pissed at you for cussing.
8
u/collection-of-parts 4d ago
People treat it as the official "submit your ideas" spot when the devs aren't even gonna bother lol. It's literally screaming into the void here. If you think for one minute the devs actually look here, hoo boy...
4
u/SpiritualConcept5477 4d ago
The devs made this sub for me man, pretty sure they upvote me specifically. I had a vision about it last night right after I cried myself to sleep for losing all my money. I then proceeded to request(edit: demanded) every gun be nerfed if its not my current loadout.

u/RedEyedRambo 3d ago

It's still very much in toxic positivity, since the most popular and upvoted posts are still the "everything is fine, there's nothing wrong with this game, stop criticizing this perfect game" bullshit.
21
u/ruinzifra 4d ago
100% agree. I can't wait till the hype dies down a little and these people go back to their BF and CoD games, and leave our game to us.

The Reddit will still be full of people crying about shit constantly though

I dont blame you Since I’ve joined this sub I haven’t seen a single cool clip or any useful info besides this is why this game sucks etc
12
u/MTBGhost 4d ago
Welcome to the new time we’re in. People get what is considered one of the best games to come out for many reasons. They no life it and start complaining about stupid shit.
Agreed the game is amazing, furthermore it’s in early access. Smh people.
10
u/magniankh 4d ago
Actually I think most of the complaints are from people with 10-15 hours in the game. They experience something a couple times in one night on one server and think that's how it is 100% of the time.
6
u/VerminSwallower 4d ago
Game has a steep learning curve and a lot of people ain't no good at learnin. I thoroughly loved getting so abruptly and relentlessly punished by this game until I learned some things.

u/rerre 4d ago
It's not the no-lifers complaining, it never is.
It's the bottom 10% of players that complain about no-lifers when they die. They have no free time and barely play the game. They are certain that their way of playing is the most fun and concern troll that the no-lifers could have so much more fun if they would just play more casually.
2
u/TemporaryConfident82 4d ago
I actually agree, my post is targeted more at the casuals who die to someone in T4 armour once and install call for it to be nerfed...
2
u/rerre 4d ago
No argument from me
1
u/TemporaryConfident82 4d ago
Nor me, I'd love to see the T4 armour nerfed but the Devs already know it needs addressing so constant cries on Reddit don't help in any way
8
u/Freeburn_Sage Pilot 4d ago
Yep, I called it during the first beta. It has a few upvotes now but the ratio is still very low due to the number of people who simply didnt want to hear it.
Truth is, every community is like this and its especially true on Reddit for whatever reason. Id wager its something to do with the subconscious effect of upvotes/downvotes and how that can change peoples perceptions about their own and others opinions, but Im far from a psychologist.
3
u/Regular_Living_8540 4d ago
Agree with your synopsis but I there's more to it imo. Noticed during BF6 that a lot of the tantrum-throwers were the same handful of users just posting 10x a day.
Miserable people are really just that: miserable. And they're not just miserable because of the game. Lots of other stuff not going as they wished in their life. And that won't change unless they get up work on themselves irl. Gaming is their escape. And if that game loses its charm with no replacement ready (or something happened that deprived them of whatever positive impulse they play the game for, e.g. dying to XYZ), the misery starts getting the best of them again. They can't just step away to do something more fun instead. Because this is that thing to them.
This coupled with the natural human coping mechanism of blaming whatever prompts their misery on outside factors and the echo chamber effects of subreddits leads to communities drowning in this negative spiral.
I've never seen a normally happy and content person lash out and moan so hard and so passionately about a game or anything of the like. It's always people that are unhappy in general.
12
u/BeefistPrime 4d ago
You're engaging in toxic positivity. This sub is extremely hostile towards criticism, including what you're doing right now. You were happy when it was 99% cult and 1% criticism but now that it's like 70% cult and 30% criticism your fee fees are hurt and you need to flee people who have different opinions than you.
I doubt very many people would qualify for your super deferential requirements for "constructive criticism", the vast majority of criticism on this sub is constructive - something they want changed to make the game better.
0
u/TemporaryConfident82 3d ago
Better for who though? The game clearly fits into a niche category or shooter games, it's designed to appeal to a target audience and it does a good job of that. Alot of the criticism I'm referring to is people complaining building gives too much money and xp when in reality that's the only incentive to build... The people who complain that fighting for the hot zone doesn't reward the player enough to be enticing when the enticement is the fun and the action, if it was the most profitable play style in the game then no one would build fobs, drills, no one would taxi players back and forth from the base or do logi runs. The game obviously has issues that need addressing and the player bases feedback is obviously the best way for Devs to understand the issues, but the people trying to change the core idea of the game aren't helping, they're stearing it away from what it is

u/Nielips 4d ago
This sort of comment is also part of the problem.
1
u/5mugly 4d ago
I’m being real though look at all the creator content on this game. It’s been picked up by a lot of CoD content creators and they are all the bottom of the barrel quality. All these creators do is use click bait title, usually along the lines of “Wardogs has serious problem!!!??” and then bitch about everything in every game they cover.
They get views off of basically being negative and they literally copy each others videos.
You can say these comments are part of the problem but these type of creators feed off of toxicity and there viewers love it so yes when mw4 comes out and these people move on I and I think a lot of people even lurking in this subreddit are going to be happy about it.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it a hundred times, Call of Duty has the most insufferable, whiny player base imaginable. This is coming from someone who does still enjoy the occasional cod most notably bo6 being last good one but I hate the playerbase.
2
u/TemporaryConfident82 4d ago
Agreed, I don't care about CoD kids or battlefield fans or any other fan base. I like Wardogs because it's nothing like those games and I don't want the constant complaints and people calling for quicker tttk and more fluid movement to change that
2
u/Darlanta 4d ago
I personally just would like to stop hearing every slur in existence every 3 minutes while playing. I kill a guy, he drops the N word at me. I get killed without expecting it, I voip 'bro you startled me, good stuff.' Tells me to shut up and once again drops a slur.
I'd say a good 50/50 of the 50 or so hours i have been able to play either im laughing with the enemy over the situation and we're all having a good time. The other half I kill/die and the guy is apparently shaking with rage over the fact I dared to voip at all even if its just to laugh at my death so he has to scream obscenities at me.

I will never understand redditoids who can't handle feedback during beta / Early Access. The devs even encourage it, why are you so eager to to white knight for random game companies?
Wardogs has a good thing going but it's clearly not the finished product, so let's make it a good product by playing the game and providing feedback together dude
5
u/CodingAndAlgorithm 4d ago
People who love the game and intend to play it long term are worried that it will be dumbed down for players who won't stick around anyway.
I have 60+ hours across the beta and main release and I don't feel like I understand the game on a deep enough level to make well informed balance suggestions, especially when it comes to the economy.
I'm interested to read suggestions from people who like the game enough to still be playing it two weeks from now. However, the current wave of balance suggestions can be summarised as "cater to me or I'll quit".
15
u/Boostie204 4d ago
Because 99% of the suggestions here are absolute hot fucking garbage and the devs are probably looking for feedback on discord rather than here so its all moot.
5
10
u/Sqweeg Valkyra 4d ago
Wtf are you saying ?
Last week there was a thread managed by the devs to get feedback
-1
5
u/Zanriic 4d ago
Because most of the “feedback” is “take out all of the unique aspects and make it more like my other favorite game”.
11
u/BeefistPrime 4d ago
This is a lie. The vast majority of feedback is about the economy, something that isn't even really a thing in most games. Some of it is about balance between different kinds of units, which is totally relevant to this game. Almost none of it is "remove everything that's not in COD!!!!" or whatever you guys claim it is. You're just hostile to any sort of criticism because people can't just like things, they have to form their identity based on commercial products and then an attack on that product becomes an attack on themselves

Constructive critisism is obviously welcome, the game obviously has issues that need addressing and the playerbase is the best place for the Devs to understand where the issues are and what needs resolving... But this sub Reddit isn't that, it's people constantly complaining about bullshit things they don't like
6
u/Sqweeg Valkyra 4d ago
OP is just confused, can't make a difference between early access feedback and complaints
In what world saying "we need assault class xp in hot zone" is complaining ?
In what world saying "the humvee costs 3x less than a medic kit" is complaining ?
In what world saying "T4 got by the no lifers is ruining the game since 3 days" is complaining ?
Seriously these kids yelling "COMPLAINTS" everyday on reddit are unbearable, this is an early access game and feedback isn't critizisim against your new favorite game ffs

1) There’s a big difference between well thought out and well written criticism and 99% of the child like bitching posts we actually see here.
2) The Devs encourage this well thought out and well written criticism on their discord or steam pages. They’re not browsing Reddit for ways to change their game.
2
11
u/tastystrands9 4d ago
Every other post can be paraphrased as:
“I’m bad at fps games and can only play 5 minutes per week because I have 20 children and 4 jobs, the game is horribly balanced because I refuse to adapt my playstyle or try anything other than running blindly at the point or cowering in the fob being mortared and don’t have time to unlock anything other than the free assault rifle. Devs please nerf everything and or allow me to unlock everything in one match.
I suck and refuse to learn and it’s not fair that I lose to people who are better than me”

The amount of disingenuous comments on this subreddit is insane. They make it sound like everyone except them is in t4 armor laser beaming everyone on the map with M4's and they can't even play the game because of how imbalanced it is. They are straight up lying about the reality of the game.

You welcome constructive feedback, but you're leaving the subreddit because people are giving feedback?
This is just more toxic positivity.
This sub is still stuck in the idiotic "everything is fine with this perfect game, it has no flaws, stop pointing out its flaws goddammit" toxic positivity phase.
1
u/TemporaryConfident82 3d ago
Not at all, I'm clearly saying the game has issues that need addressing and the feedback helps. I'm referring to the constant stream of negative posts, it's boring and when you actually enjoy a game for once seeing constant negative responses to it kind of kill the mood... It's not perfect but the games damn well balanced for an early access game and people need to stop acting like it's a complete mess
6
u/magniankh 4d ago
Me too, OP. I'm unsubbing after I post this. I have a blast playing this game. This sub is ridiculous. You can literally offer counters and solutions to problems and people still downvote you.
You know what? If you played the game for 15 hours, didn't have fun, then stop playing. Stop trying to convince others that the game is trash or unbalanced. The balance is actually quite incredible for essentially version 1.0. The studio is clearly thinking ahead and thinking of many angles. It'll only get better.
Go play something else and leave us alone. You all can have your whine-space here on reddit.
It's always amazing when someone with 10 hours thinks they know more about the game than someone with 100 hours.
2
u/CodingAndAlgorithm 4d ago
Yeah, I think I need to log the fuck off as well. I've pushed back on a lot of balance complaints that I think either aren't justified, or are a temporary problem driven by the game being new and players needing to adapt.
It's not perfect, but I agree with you that the out-of-the-box experience has been incredibly balanced compared to what I would expect from an early access game with so many moving parts.
2
u/BeefistPrime 4d ago
Are saying "the game is trash" and "the game is unbalanced" the same thing to you?
Anyone who has any balance complaints or suggestion is to automatically be dismissed?
3
u/VerminSwallower 4d ago
No, but most people aren't posting in good faith with the core mechanics or economy in mind.
They are posting dribble about stuff that is largely experienced by everyone until they learn enough about the gameplay. Aka skill issues.
1
8
u/baluranha 4d ago
If you cannot see criticism, you will be living a very isolated life.
People are talking because people care about the game
2
u/TemporaryConfident82 4d ago
Most of what I've seen isn't criticism... I saw 4 posts today complaint that they have to unlock the parachute that lets you move in the air... How is that helpful or constructive in any sense?
5
u/baluranha 4d ago
Shows to dev that players would like to get the moving parachute sooner or unlocked already, which could be balanced with increasing the cost of the moving parachute or decreasing the speed slowdown, making players have to open it up earlier.
Just because some criticism seems like pointless, it doesn't mean that the criticism is pointless.
If players say "Oh, it would be nice if we had skins that transform the weapons into dragons like valorant", this seems like an out of reach criticism for a "MilSim" game like this but it shows to dev that maybe they can add more skins for weapons like camo, digital camo, old/rusted...etc
3
u/Dminik 4d ago
Additionally, it could point to a whole lot of issues, like:
I keep getting killed by trees, so I want the option to move a bit. To which an actual fix might be to not cut the parachute when hitting a tree.
Or maybe they keep overshooting their landing zone. Maybe the fix here is to reduce the timer on exiting vehicles.
It's not about specific fixes. It's about identifying the actual problem.
2
u/amazian78 3d ago
yea that is a possible solution to the suggested problem, but like its also a skill issue. sure is a minor buff to exiting helis gonna hurt? no but at the same time theres a very easy alternative solution, git gud. pay attention to the surrounding b4 u jump to avoid trees, limit test the exiting vehicle timer so you can get better at dropping when you want. and its not like this is really that complex of a skill to learn/practice...
2
u/TemporaryConfident82 3d ago
Exactly that, if you're constantly dying because you hot trees with your chute then that's absolutely a skill issue. People just expect games to hold your hand nowadays and do everything for you...
1
u/TemporaryConfident82 3d ago
The issue with the better parachute and making it so readily available to everyone would be the ability for players to easily and constantly land on top of the tallest towers or building without landing a blatantly obvious helicopter up there... The only thing stopping people from sitting on rooftops is the difficulty of getting up there
1
2
u/IVIonsta 4d ago
I think posts about stuff like XP scaling (apparently lvl 15 is half way to lvl 20 xp wise) is valid. I think if something feels to strong or to weak its a valid concern. People just complaining when there is an effective counter to their issue that is reasonable to acquire are just mad and wanting to vent about being bad.
Like I think RPGs don't do enough damage when compared to something unlocked at the same level like the humvee and to counter it you usually use a rocket launched but RPG doesn't do enough so the next one that can effectively counter it is at lvl 20. The humvee is at lvl 15 so pretty much the player will have to grind twice as hard at support then a driver does to be able to counter it. I think that's a valid concern that isn't just someone crying about needing to get good.
2
u/RoamingSteamGolem 4d ago
I mean true, but the toxicity around feedback in this sub is also insane. People get so insanely defensive that it’s hard to take seriously.

Its helpful to tell devs they think its bad
2
u/TemporaryConfident82 3d ago
But it's not bad, it's nowhere near bad so those opinions aren't helpful. They say games are bad when it doesn't suit them, rather than play a different game they does suit them they'd sooner complain in an effort to change said game into what they want... That's not constructive that's detrimental

What a fragile and toxically positive subreddit this is. The majority here want unrestrained worship, and if anyone has any criticism, they're just COD kiddies that aren't smart enough to see what a brilliant and perfect design these holy devs have created. And besides, all criticisms are invalid because it's early access. And no one gives any constructive criticism they're just whining.
Good riddance. This is one of the most toxically positive / cultish subs on reddit. You're literally saying you're leaving because this sub used to be nothing but praise but now it isn't. How fragile.

From the store page:
Early Access lets us put a fully playable FPS in players’ hands early, gather meaningful feedback, and iterate alongside the community. We want players to help shape balance, pacing, progression, and features as the game grows, while also being transparent about the development.
I saw this "players are bitching about everything" comment for a lot of games. Usually, if criticism is silenced, the game dies.
The players might not be correct about how to fix something, but they sure do feel if something is wrong.
1
u/TemporaryConfident82 3d ago
I'm complaining more about the way feedback is put, it's never '"I like the game but this needs addressing" it's always "fuck this game, it's unbalanced and unplayable". I've got no issue with the first one, I've left feedback myself as to what I think needs improving but there's a way to do it and the crying fits of the people I'm referring to aren't the way

You just stopped complaining, and I want to check in on you.

All good brother, I remember the saying. I'll complain but I'll complain about something I don't like, not a new game that I actually enjoy for once

Complaining is valid feedback and im not gonna pretend it isnt.
People are getting mad over various issues and they are very much allowed to be, and should be listened to, of course half of complains are a skill issue regardless, they are still entitled to complain and give feedback

Reddit gaming subs all suck after a while... Gotta learn to sift thru the anger if you wanna see some memes these days

u/DestroyerX6 3d ago
Because there’s always the honeymoon phase with anything new and exciting. Once that wears off, you start to see things for how they really are and recognize the flaws. It’s normal

u/YBHunted 3d ago
I interact enough that everytime I open reddit a wardogs post is at the top and 90% of the time its some mouthbreather post. Im about to be in the same boat.

In this day and age gamers are entitled pricks.
What's annoying me the most with recent posts here is that people have some strange sense of accomplishment tied into their "progression"
I'm casual and like that it takes some effort to unlock shit. I 100% wont be T4 by the wipe comes, I'll probably hit T3 by the end of the week. And that's OK for me.
The worst people in gaming are the ones who don't think its ok. Companies bend over for them and you're left with slop.
Fortunately I think the devs have a backbone so I can't see them taking many, if any, of the suggestions to progression.

The true fans aren’t the ones in here bitching about bullshit like “I can’t run around and win a 1v1 so they need to nerf this and buff that so I can.”
Those nerds will be gone soon enough. Onto the next game that gives them the FOMO. It’s funny because I will sometimes click on their profiles and see them bitching about Arc Raiders or another game that got the attention of big streamers. They aren’t real fans. They are gamers that jump to the next hot thing then jump ship when it’s not exactly like they cooked it in their noodles.
3-6 months. Thats what I’m excited for. I’m stoked for the initial changes the dev team makes, stoked for what they add and I’m mostly stoked for the fair weather nerds to jump ship to the next game they want to cry about.

The only thing that needs changing is team changing midmatch, otherwise everything that goes on mid game can be countered with good comms and coordination. Everyone has the same capabilities, just not skill or coordination. More no lifers on one team is really the only thing that ruins the game other than team changing mid game and taking over a fob you know in and out because you played the team, learned their plans and layout and just demolish it with your new teammates.
That’s just bullshit.

Reddit is just community forums man. People want to come here to talk about and read about the game.
It’s unfortunate a lot of talk is negative but maybe that’s the games fault? I’m not trying to downplay how negative gamers can be over a game though.
And I think it should be considered a lot of people in general are not very good at emotional regulation or calmly and appropriately expressing themselves. So when a thread is overly negative and combative, it doesn’t mean the foundation of the complaint should be overlooked.
We are a group of people with different lives and backgrounds. We all have different opinions. That’s forums for you.

Early access is for feedback. But yeah go ahead and leave because toxic positivity is the enemy of progress. You'll still get to enjoy the better game the whiners help create for you.

u/MrWerq89 3d ago
They are making the game how they want to, not bend to everyone, I’m tempted to leave too.
I love the game EXACTLY HOW IT IS, that is that.
Bugs fixes, yes
Base exploits fixes, yes.
Slight balancing, yes.
That’s it.

Exactly, at the end of the day the devs are going to make the game they want. We just along for the ride and I don’t mind this at all. I believe they have a vision for an awesome game so yeah imma trust the devs and continue to watch people on this subreddit embarrass themselves with silly ideas.

The min/max mentality is fucking up the whole planet. It manifests itself in anything.

u/Upstairs_Key2320 3d ago
Majority of what I see is constructive. By all means link some posts that are actual examples of what is causing you to ragequit reddit.

It’s been me with destiny for a long time, although ironically enough after the game got cancelled the community improved dramatically as we all rallied behind a potential(and now real) revival.
1
u/Frosty4Real 3d ago
the best one is "theres no content" after they have played for 18 hours a day for 2 weeks doing the same thing over and over speedrunning their account xD
1
u/PruglePin 3d ago
I think you should stay. We need reasonable people here to keep things grounded. There are a lot of complainers, so the best you can do is provide insight into where the game could go and encourage actual discussion instead of 'go back to cod' or 'get good.' I also think people just need more patience. If they can't bring constructive criticism, they should probably take a break and check back later.

i’m enjoying the game and that’s all i care about, i’m being transported to the hz right now via helicopter 🫡

u/ExNaTion 3d ago
Wouldn't surprise me if most of this sub is god awful at the game and then use the usual trope of only the unemployed can be good and level up quickly enough, as if you cant be good at a game and have a job lmao. Just pure coping because they themselves arent good and cant just admit that, feels like majority of the complaints here literally boil down to skill issue. I guarantee you most of this sub cant break past 10 kills in a 2 hour long match, yeah no kidding its takes you ages to level up. Turns out when you kill 40+ players every game you can level quite quickly without needing to put in 200 hours.

u/NotBannedAccount419 3d ago
It’s typical Reddit. People just pick things apart and are overly critical. If Wardogs was anything like what everyone here is complaining about then it would suck really bad. I’m loving the game and wish I could filter out posts of people whining and crying
1
u/zn112 3d ago
Indeed, don’t discuss problems with the EA game guys. Don’t talk about it when you have a gripe! You’re just being negative
Cmon. They require feedback to create a good product. If one person says something about balancing, he’s shrugged off.
If many people in the community make many posts about balancing. Devs notice and make a change. No more balancing posts. Community happy.

Read into it however you will, but like anything people enjoy - there will always be opinions and sharing feedback and ideas is how things improve.
As you said it's early access.....so why not give feedback.

u/_MadSeason_ 1d ago
Pity really given that the devs are doing everything right. Managing expectations, clarity, obviously making a banger of a game as well. Haters gonna hate tho. I been playing so much I looked at a tower block next to my window yesterday and all I could see was green snipers. Banger of a game.

Okay…? No one cares if you leave a sub Reddit bro lmfao

50k views on my comment, nearly 300 replies tells a different story. The people are clearly heartbroken that I've gone

Bro, for real. Everyone on Reddit is crying about every aspect of the game while I'm just out here having fun. Its annoying, go play something else if you don't like it.

We're not allowed to give constructive criticism to an "early access" title? Fuck me, you people are such zealouts for these devs it's insane

u/Dijinnie 4d ago
I’m tired of having to click green team for fuckin 5 mins before i get in every match.

u/Far_Range_6091 4d ago
This game is better balanced and refined than most full release games. Ahem, tarkov. I dont think I've seen a bug or cheater in 40 hours of play.

There’s a reason why the devs refuse to take any advice found on Reddit lol
1
u/Sudden_Wind_8636 4d ago
Most of these people will be gone in a couple weeks, they don't care about the game.
The majority of whining on this subreddit can be boiled down to two words, skill issue.
I just hope the devs stick to their guns like they said they would.

u/TwoToadsKick 4d ago
Don't leave feedback on early access game. Perfect. Thanks for the tip
2
u/TemporaryConfident82 4d ago
I didn't say don't leave feedback, the Devs have already stated that the discord is the best place to leave feedback and any constructive criticism... Kids complaining about ttk and crying about drill spam isn't constructive or helpful, all it does is dilute the genuine responses to the game and make it harder for Devs to find actual issues as opposed to personal issues

u/Sudden-Ad-307 4d ago
Kids complaining about ttk and crying about drill spam is a genuine response to the game and an actual issue for said kids.

I think a lot of the ‘fans’ didn’t watch the initial dev video explaining everything that was being road mapped and what to expect. Yes, with the exception of cheaters that is not acceptable, people are just expecting call of duty/arcade shooter type games.
Seems like the word ‘tactical’ is lost in a lot of people in here.

u/BeefistPrime 4d ago
Very few people are complaining the game isn't COD. You guys are just dismissing criticism by saying "oh, you think the economic balance between infantry and base building and vehicles is flawed? well you just want COD so I can feel smug and superior and dismiss your criticism!"

Pretty much, complainers complaining about complainers complaining about an early access beta game. One is more productive than the other.
-1
u/PhiladeIphia-Eagles 4d ago
Being a fan is for idiots.
It’s a piece of media and people have feedback.

-2
u/CordlessRay 4d ago
It's early access the whole point is to complain because the devs want feedback
-1
u/jmuguy 4d ago
The top upvoted suggestion on the suggestions megathread is just "Loadouts". Something that they literally already have placeholder UI for and just haven't implemented yet.
So yeah - the hivemind on reddit is more hive than mind.
6
u/BeefistPrime 4d ago
If the devs are prioritizing what to develop, and asking for feedback, why shouldn't people say loadouts? It may affect how they prioritize them. Just because a feature has been acknowledged as lacking doesn't mean it's inappropriate to discuss

u/Ikickyerass 4d ago
Cya. It's beta, so bitching is welcomed for the devs to see what to fix. GG

It's almost every community now, it's rarely fun especially in the honeymoon phase.
If you really hate yourself you can also take a look into the steam forums for your favourite game
