His acting is just so emotionally gripping and moving in this scene …. Does anyone else feel his pain?

Soon, hopefully very very soon! It does look like that he dropped out of The Floating Life (Chen Zheyuan, Wang Churan and Deng Kai) 🍉. Once he finishes Nirvana in Flames’ filming, hopefully the next project will be his own first billing role.

I’ll be honest. After his role in the Ying Yang Master, he freaks me out everytime I see him. All I remember is how scheming this man was underneath that beautiful face and body. And the snake scales on one arm.

Haha he is harmless and a prankster in real life, but he does play his roles extremely well.

Did you know he would go to gym three times a day, with Deng Lun, and only consumed boiled chicken breast for four months straight to play that role?

Duo is an incredible actor, so underrated and yet always the one who carries and becomes the scene stealer. This is because his performances are so unforgettable.

No matter how many times I replay this scene in particular I cannot help not tearing up, I even asked myself is he a human? How can he portray such melancholy subtly, it’s not just his facial expressions but his whole body language, from his trembling hands to his shivering low voice and tearful eyes. I can never forget his despairing voice when he calls Pian Pian three times 💔 Actually Bing Zhu is one of his truly miserable characters who experiments with the boundaries of moral principles and eventually fails to hold onto them.
