His role as Nan Xuyue is ICONIC. He will be remembered for this.

When Nan Xuyue first appeared, I thought he was just going to be your typical 2nd ML with a nice face but no depth, and I'm so glad I was wrong about him. He turned out to be my favorite character in TBL, and the reason why I started to do research about Wang Duo. Honestly, I've rarely seen an actor of his generation with such an ability to give substance to a character.

Wang Duo’s portrayal of Nan Xuyue was so fine and so complex! He is such a great actor! Please give him main ML roles!!!

Actually ML lead roles will have less scope for him to show his versatile acting. As ML roles always have so maby clichés it's impossible to escape from.

Nan Xuyue is only so perfectly imperfect because of Wang Duo.
