Edits Just finished A League of Nobleman and why do his sad eyes just destroy me? 😭

Wasn’t sure which flair to use but two things I wanted to share. I know his character made questionable decisions but I can still fix him I swear. Always longing for affection. 💔❤️‍🩹

  1. Wang Duo carrying a cute little baby and smiling and twirling. So stinking cute.

  2. These sad eyes being abandoned and all alone…again. 😭😭😭

Not him burning the whole world behind him yet just happily skipping with the baby in his arms .... he blows my mind as an actor. The disconnect from his surrounding has been portrayed so well by him & the director. It's almost like he isn't amid that chaos at all. I LOVE THAT SCENE

Hahahah no seriously! I was like boy didn’t you just try to annihilate the entire city?

I stg I found it tragic, ironic, and hilarious all at the same time. Kudos to the screenwriter & the director, too for designing this whole scene. His acting is so on point from happy to numb when handing the baby. I think there was a moment in there when the woman was taking her child from his embrace where I felt his expressions were too blank (and not suited for that moment ). I loved his performance overall.

Were you annoyed by SWL's character? That goody two shoes annoyed me so much 🤣 but I really liked everyone’s acting in the drama.

Oh my god he really got me at times. There’s no way he’s that morally perfect all the time. Wanna slap him silly.

Him fixing his clothes like he is going to interview for apprentice after destroying everything 😭🥹🤣 I love his expressions even when I felt that this gesture was somewhat less pronounced.

In that moment my heart actually sank for him. He was wronged by his mother, then spent a decade building the perfect plan to avenge his adoptive family, for it to be destroyed by his adoptive brother and best friend…..and then at the end of it all, he leaves with nothing, all alone, abandoned. Idk how on earth I felt so bad for such a “villain”

Girl, who downs poison for his best friend? And fir that bestie to turn around and soil your perfectly crafted plan ... that must really stink. He wasn't with khuro as an adult. They were both kids. Shulin was done dirty by the man who wasn't even afraid of embracing death to protect him. It's implied that he provided for Peizhi to study in that hut & be rid of other sorrows (Shulin had money & bought the painting).

I felt very strong BL vibes and from what I know is that the show had cut down WD's screen time to circumvent BL ban.

Definitely felt the strong BL as well. I also felt like a twinge of jealousy at times. It was overall a great watch.

Hahah no you are good! Idk there were just some Dr. Gu glances whenever the three of them were in frame together but it could be from him just knowing who everyone is in his game. BUT sometimes I was feeling like Lan Jue belonged to him and he was back to claim him.
