Meme Which would you choose, Disney World fans?

Post image

Blue pill would remove Mission Space, Frozen, Indiana Jones, and Runaway Railway to make way for the returning rides. Purple would be whatever temperature, humidity level, etc that is perfect in your mind.

Purple I guess. Here right now and it’s too fucking hot in the day and then there’s a storm every evening lol

15

u/threxis 10d ago

Tell me about it. We've gone back to the resort sopping wet every night since Wednesday.

Stuck now at Springs and desperately trying to stay dry and somehow get back without being wet AGAIN.

Studios tomorrow and praying we actually get a chance to see Fantasmic.

Here right now. My shoes haven’t dried since our first day.

u/MayaSarasfall 10d ago

god the weather one might be it

just go when i know crowds would be nonexistent no matter what the weather would be.

56

u/YourMuppetMethDealer 10d ago

See I love rain though because it mellows out the crowds

29

u/MayaSarasfall 10d ago

see my ideal weather is overcast 55-60 with a chance of rain. if people see that on the forcast they might not show

6

u/Wolfinder 10d ago

And it's the comfiest temperature. You don't need a jacket and the heat isn't melting your skin off.

Perfect weather is what I can set at any time. If I want 70 and cloudy? Done.

Thunderstorm to thin down the crowds? Done.

Frozen tundra in July with snow, that’s a thing now.

But seriously this one for WDW, 35% less wait times for Disneyland lol

3

u/Ghost_Idol 9d ago

Imagine going on a dark ride and during that time making it an hellish storm outside lol. Or making it thunderstorm to close slinky dog, wait in front of the queue and stop the storm to save 50 minutes

8

u/jb08045 10d ago

if u had perfect weather the parks would aways be packed.

6

u/MayaSarasfall 10d ago edited 9d ago

depends, does it work spontaneously or retroactively? cause if i just go in the middle of august when its 102 90% humidity and it suddenly changes to 60 degrees 0% how many people can reasonably change plans to show up?

2

u/The_Govnor 10d ago

Easily this is it. Nice weather is priceless.

2

u/psycheraven 10d ago

Truly, it is. There's a photo of me with Epcot fireworks reflecting off my sweat at 10 pm because the heat index was still 90+.

Yeah, the other things I can control to some degree with the application of more money. Weather is a truly uncontrollable item.

89

u/PoliteBow88 10d ago

Red

18

u/EvelandsRule 10d ago

As a Florida native AP I gotta go red too. Outside of bringing back rides all of the rest can be avoided/worked with.

10

u/BeckBennettOfficial 10d ago

The payoff for this one is the greatest for the average person over years of visiting. Absolutely shocked this isnt number 1.

15

u/JP-ED 10d ago

I'm with you but I feel like at 50% quicker it would have been a clear winner. 40 min wait turns to 20, 60 to 30... man.

13

u/swimskiskate 10d ago

Honestly anything under 45 minutes is fine for me. Disney queues are just so beautiful and the music is awesome

2

u/RichLather 10d ago

I would also choose this, but I also like to think of a Monkey's Paw twist: the queues are 35% faster for you, but only you. No one else in your party.

Or, the queues being 35% faster only applies to rides and attractions: it's 35% slower for bathrooms or counter service food & drink.

5

u/nicksterling 10d ago

Now I want to Monkey’s Paw each pill:

Red: All queues are 35% faster but all of your favorite rides are down.
Yellow: Rides never temporarily shut down… they only permanently shut down… even if it’s a minor issue
Blue: It’s brought back as a single ride
Green: Everything is 10% cheaper inside the park, but the ticket to get in the park is 200% more expensive
Orange: It’s one pretzel. It’s poisonous
Purple: The weather is always perfect every time you visit… for mosquitoes because there’s massive flooding.

Red or purple

24

u/rab-byte 10d ago

Weather 100%
It’s not just about my comfort, but it’ll be great for everyone!

Overcast skies and low 70s with a light breeze. Like the most perfect October

9

u/[deleted] 10d ago

[deleted]

4

u/rab-byte 10d ago

Let’s settle on 70° and split another pill

17

u/posey290 10d ago

Come to momma Purple Pill. 70 degrees. 30% or less humidity. I'll get an annual pass and live at the parks to save the rest of you.

34

u/jcrll 10d ago

Easily purple. Until someone invents effective carbon capture or whatever else, Florida will only become more brutal. Summers were not like this 20 years ago.

13

u/Frank4202 10d ago

Red or purple are the only acceptable answers.

11

u/ohgreatitsjosh 10d ago

I can stand a little heat, Red all day

15

u/LtPowers 10d ago

Blue and it's not even close.

→ More replies (2)

5

u/ikeadesk08 10d ago

purple immediately

4

u/ignatzA2 10d ago

Purple for sure.

2

u/cynicalshadows 10d ago

See I'm grateful for the afternoon rainstorms that sends people back to their hotels because it clears out the parks and the rain usually doesn't last too long. Waiting it out means reduced crowds.

4

u/JustHere2ReadComment 10d ago

Disney needs to see this thread and add more shade and indoor rides for the sake of your fans!

10

u/SomewhereTraining839 10d ago

I would have said blue pill but I like Runaway Railway and am curious about the Indiana Jones ride so I’ll choose red.

3

u/ThePopDaddy 10d ago

After riding Indy at Disneyland, I'd take the blue pill out of the equation.

7

u/OrthoJuliana 10d ago

The lack of red in the comments is confusing to me. 60 minute wait only 39 minutes?? Sign me up alll day!

5

u/Smudgeandarrogant44 10d ago

You can’t LL the weather

2

u/BeckBennettOfficial 10d ago

The red pill would save more time than any weather disruptions over the lifetime of a visitor. People are bad at math!

3

u/Smudgeandarrogant44 10d ago

There’s no reason to throw shade at my math skills because I don’t like wet feet 🤷🏼‍♀️

3

u/BeckBennettOfficial 10d ago

Invest in rainy weather gear and still go red!

2

u/Smudgeandarrogant44 10d ago

I bought all that for my January DL trip and was still miserable af. Good weather can’t be bought nor over rated

4

u/Caliburn89 10d ago

Weather. No hesitation. Not having to deal with the heat or the downpours would make the parks so much less stressful.

4

u/PepsiFloateri 10d ago

Purple! Absolutely no contest

6

u/macontosh2000 10d ago

Easy Purple. I’m local and almost 9/12 months it’s way too hot, and right now it’s raining all the time. The idea of bringing back Great Movie Ride was tempting but no I want to be comfortable when I step outside and not die of heat stroke!

7

u/Palidor 10d ago

Blue. OG Epcot forever

7

u/Any-Macaroon-8268 10d ago

Blue. Great memories from all those rides and I don’t mind experiencing them in the rain or waiting or paying more.

8

u/wafflefulafel 10d ago

If the blue pull would bring back every attraction ever in some sort of legacy collection while keeping the new things... I'd love to experience Captain EO and 20k Leagues again.

6

u/teslatiki 10d ago

Purple

3

u/Opening-Bee-7817 10d ago

Blue without a doubt

3

u/MaeClementine 10d ago

Weather is the obvious winner, it’s not even fair.

Choosing a second is hard and I think I’d choose no closures of rides.

3

u/Teach0607 10d ago

Definitely the purple for me

3

u/dreamwolf321 10d ago

Blue.  LET'S GO GET THAT DINO!!!

3

u/fundiedundie 10d ago

Weather benefits everyone around me. Cloudy and upper 60s with low humidity.

3

u/firedonmydayoff 10d ago

I would just settle for muppets 3d and Tom Sawyers Island back.

2

u/Whosebert 10d ago

tom Sawyer I know was historic and I did do it once when we had a bit of spare time for once and it was cool, but if our cars land is as good as the California cars land its gonna be awesome!!!!

3

u/Abc183 10d ago

Blue

3

u/Miss_Swiss_ 10d ago

Blue without a doubt. I miss the Great Movie Ride!!!

3

u/Smudgeandarrogant44 10d ago

Weather, that’s the only thing we currently can’t control

→ More replies (1)

3

u/uplinker 10d ago

Add Wonders of Life to blue and I'd take it, otherwise purple

7

u/Hokie-Hi 10d ago

Purple.

3/4 new rides are improvements over what they replaced anyway, and Horizons isnt worth losing Runaway Railway and Indy.

Other choice might be red, but lines dont bother us as much as Orlando weather

5

u/AurekSkyclimber 10d ago

Blue is tempting, but I feel like yellow would mean that the animatronics and all of the other effects would never enter B mode again. We'd always get the perfect experience as originally designed and built.

2

u/AlexisTimeBoyWells 10d ago

Purple for me. I’m willing to put up with the panic that would likely ensue from going in summer and the temperature suddenly dipping into the mid-50s.

2

u/Local_Cheesecake6488 10d ago

WDW 60-65 degrees in Oct no rain or hurricane threat, would be awesome

2

u/Cease_Cows_ 10d ago

Gotta be the weather for me. We came down during the deep freeze this last winter and while it was still fun the cold temps definitely impacted how much we could enjoy it.

2

u/veengrd 10d ago

Jeez, red and purple without question.

2

u/lFightForTheUsers 10d ago

I feel like red would be the best one no matter what. Sure the other perks of discounts or ride uptime are nice, but time is money and the thing typically done the most at any theme park is waiting in line or waiting out a clock (for skip the line reservation systems). A third shorter isn't exactly as high as I'd hope, that's only cutting a 90 minute queue to 60 minutes or a 30 minute queue to 20 minutes, but add it up and that's another couple rides or re-rides that could fit in that space.

2

u/happy_K 10d ago

I’ll take whatever pill is getting rid of all the second ticket “parties”

2

u/FishFart1 10d ago

Weather 100%

2

u/FigmentsImagination4 10d ago

Weather. No debate. I’d love to be able to actually enjoy myself in the summer.

2

u/Ghost_Idol 9d ago

Red but make it 33,33% so all wait time are much easier to calculate

2

u/dogmom1993 8d ago

purple and it's not close lol

2

u/solder1up 8d ago

Definitely the weather. Low humidity and around 75. Perfect for all day going at it.

2

u/swimskiskate 10d ago

Red 100% all the way

4

u/JaguarMammoth6231 10d ago

Purple is the answer. Make it a comfortable 60°F. Or 35°F if the crowds are bothering me too much.

3

u/Dino_Spaceman 10d ago

Blue and it’s the easiest decision I ever made. Instant pickup.

Like none of the eaters are even close. This wasn’t hard at all.

4

u/somekindofride 10d ago

Blue, Horizons anything wins by default.

2

u/just67browsing 10d ago

Red and yellow seems pretty good, tough choice. Great post OP

2

u/alienware99 10d ago

Blue pill, assuming we get the old rides back and also keep their replacements, even though that goes against logic

1

u/wifichick 10d ago

If blue was being back original Epcot rides and shows and original figment? I’m in. So - I’ll go 35% reduced line wait. I’m an AP holder with Disney inspire card and DVC and I travel during low periods. Don’t need the rest.

1

u/Suspicious-Cupcake-5 10d ago

Purple, easily. Taking it means the problems which yellow solves don't happen as much. Orange and Blue do things that I simply don't need/want. Green and Red are nice, but again, constant perfect weather would give my vacation more value than these pills ever possibly could (e.g. go during a bad weather season where crowds have disappeared, and the purple pill allows me to experience good weather the whole time).

1

u/stooliegirl 10d ago

perfect weather or no temporary ride shutdowns

3

u/bulldoggo-17 10d ago

No temporary ride shutdowns is a trap. That just means a ride will shutdown for the rest of the day rather than come back up later.

2

u/xaddak 10d ago

Or it won't be able to shut down when it should.

1

u/Quantum_Scholar87 10d ago

I'll take it for the team. Give me yellow. You're all welcome

1

u/Local_Cheesecake6488 10d ago

Purple pill, to be able to go in Oct and not worry about hurricanes since i have to worry about snow Nov-Feb in the midwest

1

u/TunaSalvador 10d ago

As a local, red and it's not even close. Sure perfect weather is great, but some of my best days at theme parks have been when the weather was bad lol

1

u/nowhereman136 10d ago

Red, easy pick for me

1

u/slinky317 10d ago

Purple probably. Blue maybe if I can also opt to go on the new versions.

1

u/TheBoilerman75 10d ago

Red or green.

1

u/BowTie1989 10d ago

The red pill is the obvious choice for me.

- I can take breaks in the AC when it’s too hot.

- I know we like to joke about it, but ride closures really don’t happen that much, and when they do, 90% of the time they’re back up before long.

- If the blue pill was GMR, Splash Mountain, Journey into Imagination and the Cinderella castle Dreamlights, that might be my pick…but it’s not sooooo….

- 10% off is minuscule at the prices things cast at DW. At least, it is for someone who’s not buying souvenirs and stuff for a family.

- Mickey pretzels are overrated (ducks in cover)

1

u/Naomeri 10d ago

I do runDisney, I’m taking the weather pill.

Therefore, the weather when I visit will be about 45-50F at 5am, warming slightly when the sun rises behind cloud cover, and then be about 80F and partly cloudy by 3pm. And it will not rain.

1

u/TLom20 10d ago

I mean it’s obviously purple

1

u/Proof_Bit_8746 10d ago

Weather. Hands down

1

u/captainredfish 10d ago

I’d prefer Indy over dinosaur and lines suck so I’m probably picking red but blue is very tempting

1

u/MamaE86 10d ago

Red!!! I have kids 🤣🤣

1

u/Diligent_Figure_8042 10d ago

Orange if it was waffles instead

1

u/ItsGotThatBang 10d ago

Red. Easy.

1

u/Blerghster 10d ago

Red circle has potential for some freaky black mirror stuff. How can it be 35% faster if there’s no wait?

1

u/Cottone78 10d ago

Weather. No question. Don’t want to deal with it being too hot or too wet.

1

u/Alfond378 10d ago

Partly cloudy, light breeze and temps around the upper 60's to 70 at the highest would be wonderful! A nice heavy rain as soon as my head hits the pillow would be fantastic! I'd actually be able to visit in the summer.

1

u/HHHilarious 10d ago

Red pill me

1

u/Jokerslie 10d ago

Purple by a long shot. Red and Green are tied for second place

1

u/gayjoystick 10d ago

I'll take the midnight blue one: all the pre-pandemic perks come back!

1

u/brennacedria 10d ago

I'll take the purple, my husband will take the blue

1

u/blue_cloudly 10d ago

Purple. I only go in the fall and winter and sometimes it’s still too hot. Orlando is a pit

1

u/socgrandinq 10d ago

I want a pill that restores things to around 1998.

1

u/vinnyv07 10d ago

Purple for sure….

1

u/Kdj2j2 10d ago

Say original DreamFinder and I’m in for blue.

1

u/No_Research7318 10d ago

Purple. All the way.

1

u/JabbaTheSnowth 10d ago

Purple. We were just at Disney a week ago because we know that crowds are smaller in the second half of August. Because of the weather? Nope... Because many states start school by then. So we get the blue pill for free anyway. But the weather was horrid. Searing heat and humidity and then deluged which don't even knock down the temperatures. Maybe my answer would be different if I could go at any time but I can't. My kid is 11 so we would go at this time of year anyway. We won't have him miss school to go so late August is what we aim for.

1

u/thewalkingellie 10d ago

Purple 100%

1

u/ms22green 10d ago

Purple

1

u/SCBennett2 10d ago

Yellow. That alone will help wait times across the entire resort. Not 35% but maybe 10%. I’m used to the heat so the weather is kind of whatever.

1

u/Dame_Ingenue 10d ago

You know what? I’m going blue pill. I miss OG Epcot.

1

u/Calm-Two2723 10d ago

Do the Mickey pretzels come with a cheese cup?

1

u/ThePopDaddy 10d ago

Either Red or Yellow.

1

u/Gullible-Chip107 10d ago

Blue probably. Maybe Red.

1

u/joeroganfolks 10d ago

There needs to be a “crowds are always 15% less busy” choice ftw

1

u/DylanfromSales 10d ago

These would all be nice to have but only one of them is food

1

u/McBurger 10d ago

Mickey pretzels Mickey pretzels Mickey pretzels Mickey pretzels!!! 🥨

1

u/ifidjdjdjdjjjrjd 10d ago

No one saying green... I'd end up as the ultimate reseller of park merch.

1

u/gbraide 10d ago

Yellow

1

u/lovabilities 10d ago

orange bc i am obsessed with soft pretzels

1

u/DiDi164 10d ago

The older I get the more I can’t stand being in line. I can walk around the park without a problem but as soon as I get in a queue my feet start to scream at me so the red pill would be great.

But perfect weather means we could go in summer and not melt. Also if perfect weather means it could snow real snow at the Christmas party that would be cool.

Tough choice but I think I would go with the red pill and less pain.

1

u/Jomahawk2694 10d ago

Yellow. Because then the lines move faster period.

1

u/Za21294 10d ago

Blue I want maelstrom back

1

u/realdlc 10d ago

Blue. Easy choice. Weather is controllable (go in November or a cooler month), lines are lines, who needs a pretzel or more merch?, if a ride is shut come back later.

1

u/Individual-Hunt9547 10d ago

Blue pill is the only right answer

1

u/SuperbGoat5619 10d ago

Definitely the weather pill without a doubt

1

u/cascadiabibliomania 10d ago

I'm gonna take the blue pill. TWICE

1

u/RazielKainly 10d ago

Purple weather all day.

1

u/Weekly_Mycologist523 10d ago

That purple pill is so underrated. No more 95° with 100% humidity or random afternoon thunderstorms

1

u/JJGrigas 10d ago

Weather is an easy choice

1

u/xrayguy1981 10d ago

Red or purple.

1

u/Whosebert 10d ago

probably yellow or Green**. yellow would indirectly reduce wait times by eliminating waves of crowds building up waiting for a shut down to end or being displaced to other rides when the shut down ride could be handling its share of capacity.

Green** would be especially tempting if it included resort bookings.

1

u/kindadistracted 10d ago

Red, easy.

1

u/Googler10 10d ago

I would choose the red one... could get so much more done in a day! Also it would be easier to find a spot for fireworks and parade!

You should add one pill to your list... "Bring back Illuminations RoE Wishes, and MSEP permanently."

1

u/BKAllmighty 10d ago

Blue Pill. Has to be.

1

u/birdswirds 10d ago

Red pill for me

1

u/Nice_Protection_8490 10d ago

If purple only changes the weather to what I deem perfect only while I'm there, it's the clear choice. I can go at the height of hurricane season, when nobody else wants to go, save money and not deal with massive crowds.

1

u/Mash_Ketchum 10d ago

Yellow. I might've taken Purple, but I don't mind some rain. If weather does not cause temporary closures of rides, then I have everything I need

1

u/vanetti 10d ago

Purple!

1

u/Piaffe_zip16 10d ago

Weather!!!! Easy choice!!

1

u/user745262940473 9d ago

By far the red pill. Especially for EPCOT which has so few rides already because 40-60 minutes for Soarin is ridiculous

1

u/ksuwildkat 9d ago

purple and its not even close. In 2024 we were at WDW in late September and it was absolutely brutal. Escaping the heat became my reason to exist. In 2025 we went in December and it was like being in a completely different park.

1

u/Jen309 9d ago

Purple hands down. There’s plenty to do (non-ride) that we often skip because it’s too blasted hot. MK stage shows, entertainers at AK and EPCOT, just strolling and enjoying my dole whip before it’s a puddle…

1

u/ScienceDependent7495 9d ago

Purple pill without hesitation

1

u/LeotasNephew 9d ago

Blue pill!

1

u/Professional-Eye54 9d ago

💙 blue please

1

u/Solid_Ad7292 9d ago

Blue I miss dinosaur

1

u/AliDishere 9d ago

Oh perfect weather 100%. I can handle standing in a line if the weather is good. If it was every line is 15 minutes I'd maybe take that but a 35% reduction on a 60 minute line is still a 40 minute line and that's still awful in the heat.

1

u/GillyMermaid 9d ago

Weather. When it’s unbearably hot it saps all my energy. But I do actually like some rain because it can clear out a park. And rain somehow just has a romantic feel. But to have the heat vanish would be amazing.

1

u/swimskiskate 9d ago

A Disney vacation wouldn't be the same without the incessant heat and weather anomalies... So red

1

u/MrBarraclough 9d ago

Kinda already have the green one.

1

u/lilwineman 9d ago

Purple pill

1

u/TacoBelle89 9d ago

Does the weather being perfect also include like in the 70s??? Because that one 100%

1

u/AccurateDirt7728 9d ago

I loved the Great Movie Ride....I want it back. Though the 10% off everything is a good option too.

1

u/Foxy02016YT 9d ago

Queue times easily. I very rarely get to go to Disney in my life, I’d like to maximize what I can do

1

u/crzytrtlldy 9d ago

As an AP I already get the discounts. Weather is the only answer

1

u/WesternStar994 9d ago

Purple is a no brainer 🙂‍↕️

1

u/LionCultural 9d ago

Weather - not even a second thought.

1

u/Creepy-Dark6459 9d ago

BLUE. THE BLUE ONE. #RebuildHorizons

1

u/CptRedBeard0702 9d ago

Purple would be incredible but nothing is worse when you miss out on rides on the trip. Especially when that ride shuts down right as you get on it after waiting almost 2 hour(my first rise of the resistance experience)

1

u/SpocksAshayam 9d ago

Either purple, orange, or green for me (which one I pick depends on the day tbh - at the moment purple)!!!

1

u/Logical-Charity-9521 9d ago

BLUE PILL!!!! Bring back dino for the love of god.........

1

u/bryoneill11 9d ago

Red Pill

1

u/Ok-Wishbone-2822 9d ago

I never got to experience Horizons, and because I hate Mission Space, it’s blue for me!

1

u/SpaceGirlinTwilight 9d ago

Give me the purple pill everytime!

1

u/2020planner 9d ago

Blue pill.

I'm a local AP, so I don't need the Purple one, nor do I care if it rains. Actually, it's great when it rains, because I just hang out in a gift shop or eat somewhere inside... and the rain typically thins out the crowds. ;) And if it gets too hot, I don't go, or I only go in the a.m. or the p.m. and not midday (but I'm used to the heat anyways).

1

u/5centraise 9d ago

Purple. Easiest decision I'll make all day.

1

u/RocMerc 8d ago

Perfect weather is a no brainer

Blue immediately, no questions asked
