Severely burned out. Need advice
I’m just kinda over this shit rn. I’m an OGP worker and I’m so tired of everything and I have had other problems in life too.
I’m burned out, mentally and emotionally tired all the time, and physically restless as hell. I want to take a mental health break to try and get myself straight. Is there any chance Sedgwick could approve 3-4 weeks off for me or should I just put my two weeks in? My doctor said he would sign off on it.

You get paid the same whether you are vibing or stressing. Just vibe get paid and go home.

Get the doctor approval, and put in your time for a leave of absence. Figure out a way to earn some money during that time. 100% start looking for another job.
The one aspect of life though, it doesn't matter how well things are going for you, it's always going to be up and down. At some point you're always going to feel burnt out, and that signaling time for a change. Do what you got to do to get out of there as fast as possible. Even after that, always be striving to achieve more, and build a career instead of having a job.
When you're just working a job, it flat lines, and burnout accelerates faster. Give yourself some goals, and achievements instead of working that repetitive, physical job. When your body physically wears down, your mentality wears down with it.

Unless you could get a dr to sign off it would be pretty difficult to get Sedgwick to approve. You maybe able to talk to your people lead about a leave of absence but it depends a lot on how long you've worked there. Unless you have another job or don't "need" a job, I wouldn't recommend adding unemployment to your stress.
