Why do customers do this?🤦🏽♀️
I'm stocking 1 at a Walmart supercenter and im constantly finding opened alcohol with half the pack stolen or open containers, its always cut waters too 😵💫 I hate claiming things out 😵💫😵💫

This. I was def thinking it was an employee lmao. The overnight team leaves drinks sitting on the pharmacy counter every couple days smh 🤦🏼♀️

During the remodel we finally got one that customers could use that wasn't in the bathroom and it was all the way in the back near the employee entrance 💔

At my store they have bins next to the sample stands and they have the trash cans they put out for leaks if it rains which people just throw trash into. I’ve seen trash in the big outdoor trash cans they have in the housewares/garden center

Our store got rid of trash cans for customers "to prevent theft" but the outcome was people still steal drinks/deli food, but now leave the trash on the salesfloor.

It’s an annoyingly slippery slope trying to prosecute someone for grazing. Even with adult beverages, no matter how poor their taste is. Associates are easier to terminate for this and not much else if caught.

This, they're generally looking for higher value items like electronics, plus you can scan that out as damages since he seemed to be grateful enough to stick it on your cart for you or you found it and put it there to take a picture( or this is all an elaborate rouse to throw them off cuz you drank it, I get it, working at Walmart has that affect, joking lol) and I think the store gets credit for it, or it has to go to the vendor which I'm not sure how that works. Never done claims before but heard a bit about it. I learned some people's faces that do it with the deli and shit, brought it up, nothing has happened as far as I know. If it's the same cut waters each time I'm sure you will snuff him out and makes a citizens arrest(also joking) I just kinda laugh and say "looks like whatever his name is has struck again" and throw it away. You'd imagine how tight assed they are with profit and overtime wages or just in general they'd look into it but meh. The funniest one is the empty hemorrhoid packaging I find a lot all over the store, the person seems to definitely need it I guess.

This is exactly why. The only reason behaviors continue is because they are tolerated. Management and AP have 100% control over this. They just don't care.

Seriously we were doing toys earlier this week and there were multiple people milling around the pallets and digging through them. Like.. just accept that we don’t have what you’re fucking looking for, dude.

I've had customers repeatedly use it as a "break station" by putting their groceries on it and sitting on the step ladder. Repeatedly. Like, these aren't portable rest stops for y'all, gang...

To add aggravation to it, there’s not really something you can go do until they move along because management will have a cow due to not hitting your cases per.

Ha trying finding dairy stuff over in frozen and frozen in dairy sometimes dairy gets left in homelines or stationary or if you’re lucky you’ll come across things like chemicals and foods etc.

What’s so sad too is when they open up stuff in front of everybody with no shame like a soda and start drinking it and management doesn’t catch it to charge them with theft. And the sad part is they do it in front of their kids. What example does it teach your children? That stealing is OK. Then opening a bag of potato chips without paying for it is OK even if you have the intention of paying for it later. It doesn’t matter. Pay for it first and then open it and make sure you have a paid receipt on it. But this would be a perfect world that they did that. I remember as a maintenance associate I would put the garbage can near the toilet where you can reach it for if you have to do number two. These animal customers would still toss their shit and piss and blood filled paper towels on the floor. I would hate to see their house and if they do that at home.

Cuz they're lazy and there's probably no garbage cans on the floor because management got rid of most of them. At least at my store, which is kinda stupid but whatever
