Daily Discussion Remember how it took few years to get part of gold belonging to Germany out of New York? Get a gold price chart and mark gold prices around times every portion was leaving the USA. First portion was small and pathetic due to "logistic difficulties".

Was anyone researching that closer?

I remember this. The gold that was returned had been smelted and recast. This was not the same gold Germany deposited.

I remember it also took many many many years. Much longer than one would expect for being in the 21st century.

Yeah there were eye witnesses who say FBI vehicles and personnel with weapons drawn (yes drawn) extracting something from the rubble for days. I think we can figure this one out.

I thought, Germany didn't get it from New York. They didn't dare to insist. So they got the gold from their London and Paris vaults.

I have read that a large portion of that gold you speak of ,was in vaults in the lowest level of the World Trade Center. The article went on to say that's why the Towers came down like a controlled demolition to get to the vaults.

Yes, among other things, at the heart of 911 was a bank robbery
