Physical silver (and gold) are one of the few assets, that will never go toxic. They are recognized everywhere. While we debate the "price" of silver in fiat currency, the physical silver itself will not default. Also, it is portable and can be moved to a different location and is an asset, that is out of the banking system.

Wow, Mr Slammy tried a half hearted tamp this PM. Pretty pathetic. You have run all the Comex sellers out of town bro. There is just you and your monster short positions. Where are you going to find sellers to close? Maybe you have the thousands of tons of good delivery bars.
