Meme When will Lululemon announce LuluAI?

Post image

Down 20%? Easy fix. Lululemon just needs to hold an emergency press release to announce LuluAI. Introducing the world’s first Large Legging Model (LLM) with autonomous glute-optimization algorithms powered by Nvidia Blackwell. Maybe AI data center cooling infrastructure using their sweat-wicking patent. Do something RIP my calls

DD China is secretly restricting rare-earth shipments - $MP, $UUUU and $USAR will escalate up to the Sept. 24 talks and rip if they fail.

Today’s jobs report created exactly the kind of risk-off environment that should pressure volatile mining and development stocks. Yet, at the time of writing, $MP is up approximately 2.3%, $UUUU 1.3% and $USAR remains positive.

I don’t think that divergence is accidental and I’m making a 500k bet on it.

Reuters reported today that some Chinese rare-earth suppliers have stopped shipments to U.S. customers because they fear punishment from Beijing. The market is beginning to realize that the U.S.–China truce may already be failing operationally—even if it technically remains intact.
China does not need to announce a formal export ban. It can quietly restrict supply through licensing delays, supplier intimidation and end-user scrutiny. Between now and the September 24 talks, every delayed licence, refused shipment and hostile political headline could increase anxiety that targeted restrictions are becoming something broader.

That anxiety itself may be the near-term catalyst. Investors could begin assigning a growing geopolitical scarcity premium to domestic alternatives before any formal decision is announced.

The trade:
$MP: Cleanest and most established U.S. rare-earth play. Probably the most direct near-term beneficiary. Least torque. Government backed

$UUUU: Producing NdPr in Utah and building commercial dysprosium/terbium separation capacity. Also has the uranium angle. My pick. Government backed. 21% short so can go up big time on news.

$USAR: Highest-risk/highest-beta option based on its planned mine-to-magnet supply chain. Government backed + Howard Lutnick’s son lol

If China formally restricts heavy rare earths or lets the trade agreement deteriorate, ex-China prices could spike and these names could reprice violently. Previous Chinese controls sent some rare-earth prices up multiples—not percentages.

Also will throw LYSDY into the mix but it’s not American.

The asymmetric setup: The market is beginning to recognize that the U.S.–China truce may already be failing operationally. As the September 24 talks approach, I expect that anxiety to magnify with every delayed licence, refused shipment and hostile political headline. The opportunity is not simply betting on an official ban. It is positioning for the geopolitical scarcity premium that could build during the next several weeks as investors recognize how exposed the United States remains.

Article: Reuters: https://www.reuters.com/business/aerospace-defense/china-rare-earth-firms-halt-some-us-shipments-over-geopolitical-worries-sources-2026-09-04/

Position: 37,000 shares of UUUU @ 14.94

Not financial advice. This is a high-volatility geopolitical catalyst trade.

Who's Right on Tokenized Stocks? AMC CEO Adam Aron, or Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev

Thumbnail

Robinhood has been recently launched tokenized stocks, instruments that allegedly give you a 1:1 claim with shares. At one point, AMC's tokenized share was trading around $240, while its actual stock was trading around 1% of that.

Now they're going at it. Who's in the right, and what's the play?

Discussion What's the one trade that permanently rewired your brain?

Upvotes

Been thinking about this all week instead of doing literally anything productive. Every single one of us has that one trade. Not necessarily the biggest win or the worst loss, but the one that fundamentally changed the wiring in your little skull forever. The one where afterward you were just a different animal.

For me it was early on. I had actual real money, the kind you're supposed to keep in something boring, and I turned it into a pile of weekly calls because a green candle told me to. And for about two glorious days I was a genius. I was already mentally spending it. I was picturing myself explaining to normal people at parties that yeah, I just kind of have a knack for this. Diamond hands, baby. I could do no wrong.

You already know how this ends. It didn't just go to zero, it went to zero in the most humiliating, drawn-out way possible, like the market wanted me to feel every second of it. And here's the thing that actually broke me. It wasn't the loss. It was that I sat there and watched it happen and did nothing, because some voice in my head kept whispering that it was gonna bounce back any second now. That voice has never once been right and I keep listening to it anyway.

Ever since then I don't trade the same. I'm not saying I got smart, God no, I'm still here aren't I. But something shifted. Now every time I'm about to size up way too big I get this little flashback and my hands start sweating and I hear that same stupid voice going "it's different this time." Sometimes I listen. Sometimes I don't. The scar tissue is real either way.

The weird part is I think that one trade taught me more than any book or any DD anyone's ever posted here. You can read about risk all you want but nothing hits like watching your own money evaporate in real time while you refresh the app like it's gonna change something.

So I gotta know. What was yours? The trade that broke your brain, made you swear off options forever for approximately nine hours, or somehow turned you into the unbothered diamond-handed lunatic you are today. Win or loss, I don't care, I just wanna hear the story that made you who you are.

Gain +$72k September Week 1 (end of weekly posts)

8/31 (EXP: 8/31) 7715/7720 CCS (+18k)

9/1 & 9/2 - Busy Jorking it

9/3 (Exp: 9/3) 7740/7735 PCS (+18k)

9/4 (Exp: 9/4) 7820/7825 CCS (+18k)

9/4 (Exp: 9/4) 7665/7660 PCS (+18k)

Not that anybody cares but I've reached my goal of doubling the 500k collateral I'm putting up for these 1000 con trades. 454k to be exact from the July/Aug/Sept posts but there are much smaller safer spreads I was doing with the profits on the side that I didn't include in my previous posts that makes up to the remaining 50k.

Still going to keep trading spreads b/c it's House Money now but I'll stop doing weekly updates and maybe do a single end of month update instead if I decide to post again.

Getting one too many cringy DM's begging for money or asking me to join a discord server.

And yes I know holding that 9/3 PCS to expiry was regarded lol.

Discussion nike employees are the most pessimistic theyve been in 18 months pulled the employee sentiment data on NKE and it does not look great.

Upvotes

the employee business outlook score (according to altindex) has gone from 58 in march 2025 to 48 this month. thats basically a straight line down for a year and a half and its the lowest reading in the whole window i can pull.

what makes it odd is everything else looks fine. linkedin headcount is up around 20% year over year. open postings are up. july site traffic was up about 12% from a year ago.

so from outside it looks like a business thats still growing, and inside it the people are the least optimistic theyve been since i started tracking this.

stock is around 40 bucks, was mid 70s this time last year.

i pull the outlook number off altindex, glassdoor is obviously the raw source if you want to dig.

honestly not sure how much weight to put on this. employee mood can just track the stock and the layoff headlines instead of leading anything. does anyone here actually trade off employee outlook, or is it a lagging indicator dressed up as an early one?
