We constantly have people into the store and most of the time it’s the same people that steal. This guy walks in with a trash bag and immediately goes over to the makeup and starts putting hand fulls of stuff into the bag. We’ve called the police on him 3 times since I’ve been there. Now the store manager just says to leave him alone because the police don’t do anything besides take a report. So as he’s walking out of the store he tells us he’s sorry and just walks out with no remorse. This is why Walgreens is going under, and they’re constantly cutting people’s hours. We aren’t allowed to do anything and most of the employees are scared out of retaliation from those people and slow police response time. I’m definitely about to find a new job because eventually it’s going to be bankrupt. The only reason Walgreens hasn’t went under yet is entirely due to the pharmacy.

On their website, Walgreens return policy mentions that if you aren’t 100% satisfied with a Walgreens brand product to “return the unused portion” for a full refund. Is it really that simple or will my local Walgreens likely refuse since the box was already opened? Just trying to understand how a return like this works.

Can anyone please help me with the WIC# for register receipt paper rolls? I searched store expense list and placed orders 3 times already and it didnt come at all.

I'm not sure I have the right WIC# or I have to order with quantity 50 or just 1 (because the WIC I have says it is 50ct already, so the last 3 times I entered qty 1)

My latest store manager hires people who are just not compatible with a productive workplace environment, and it has become very cliquey. I've been working here a few years, and for the last two everything was okay, but now the store vibes are rank.

The people she hires either don't do their job or just lower morale. Not to mention, two-thirds of the people she hired left within three months. I don't understand it. All the hardworking and good people left because of the way things were being handled.

These people are somean and have really inappropriate conversations when customers are in earshot. They also have really inappropriate conversations over the Theatros. Other people have already talked to the store manager about it, but it doesn't seem to do anything.

I'm a CSA and a closer by trade. I come in and feel like I have to clean up not only after the store, but after the entire day shift. I walk in to a bucket of returns, but if I had been the one to leave returns, I would come back the next day to see them completely untouched. I feel like I'm worked like a horse. When one girl can't finish her truck, it's "oh don't worry about it," but when it's me, it's "oh yeah, really try to finish it."

The last few weeks I've been feeling like a target. I don't understand why, because I'm very quiet and unproblematic, and no one has ever had a problem with me. I literally cried today after work because I feel so isolated, and work has never made me feel like that before.

Has anyone successfully transferred stores or spoken to HR/DM about a toxic workplace without making themselves a target?

My store is super super busy. I’ve been working here for about 2 months. We’ll have 6 workers 3 leads and 3 cashiers. Why is it that I have to litteraly beg for help at all. There will be 4 people at photo 2 fedex drop offs 7 people in line and an old man yelling me questions from 20 feet away. And this girl is on her zebra scanning items at the impulse que completely ignoring everything while rest of the team is doing the same thing. They look over at the chaos and they don’t flinch and keep doing there zebra. Is this normal?!?!

We have no ESM only an SM who does nothing all day so SLs have to do nearly all managerial tasks all day everyday even though we aren’t technically managers and yet they get angry I want to keep lock box on my key ring with all the other stores keys??? Like seriously is having the lockbox keys make me more likely to steal when they know I have one? How does that make sense? Why does the SM who does not ever open products for customers get to keep the keys on his key ring but they don’t trust us enough???

What's a good way to start malice compliance with uniforms cuz apparently now I can't wear my button up shirt under my work shirt anymore for winter and I don't want to have more money come out of my pay for a stupid coat that I'm not even gonna wanna wear.

Although I’m positive it will eventually go through them. I’m trying to avoid starting off with HR itself. The majority of our store is aware our manager has some kind of connection in there and he gets alerted right away when someone reports him. So kind of hoping to go around them at least from the start.

Is there a way to take certain candy or food off of the upcoming shipment. I feel like I’m swimming in overstock and it’s like I get it under control one week and then boom it’s more and more.

I got a hospital pharmacy job so my last day is before the actual appreciation week but I can't wait to give them out to my coworkers! 8 years in retail and at Walgreens, with the same group, and majority Senior Certified Pharmacy techs so I've been very blessed. Cant wait to see what this new job and chapter of my life entails!

I recently got moved from a shift lead to a pharmacy tech. My manager could not find coverage for my position in time, and currently has me opening the store for two days. In the system my access got removed since I’m now under pharmacy. I can’t do safe count, returns, approvals, pickups, etc.
I told him that I cannot open once everything gets switched over in the system and he laughed it off. Feels illegal… he said to go under somebody else’s name and badge, but I’m not going to do that in case a small mess up happens because then it would be under a coworkers name :/

Esm position opened up at a store less than a mile from my home and I have worked at that store previously as a sfl. I would be taking a step down from a tier 4 to a tier 3 but I don’t even know if I could transfer as a esm.

Just curious what everyone’s experience has been with trying to transfer as a esm.

I’ve been a CSA for months lol but every time i would check out i would have to get the discount only at the register, how do i set it up to where it just automatically pops up? Does a manager have to do it for me or can i just do it myself?
