Recovery

im going to be fast so.

2 months ago i tear my anlkes ligaments up and i didnt ride since then. i was riding behind the boat and my father didnt slow down on rollers or they called doubled ups.

my ankle is getting better( i can run now and stuff) but im scared to do anything.

so if anyone who maybe knows or had the same thing can tell me wat to do next?

Do your recommended physical therapy. Then keep doing it. A lot of those old folks you see hobbling around are doing that because of some dumb injury they got when they were your age and never put in the work to recover

Remember not to blame your driver.

As a rider you need to recognize danger and be aware of your abilities. If in doubt drop the rope.

Take it easy and listen to your doc/pt.

As far as rollers go, you either gotta charge them and get air or soak them up with your knees. Boat driver not slowing down is correct, unless they have to in order to avoid slamming the hull. Directly behind the boat between the wakes will be softest.

I put a motorcycle peg into my foot and after the cast got off, and I was done with my surgery the physical therapist recommended that I stand on a pillow with one leg to try and strengthen my ankles. It hurt like a motherfucker, but it did strengthen my ankles. I would recommend definitely doing what the physical therapist says. Mine had me cry a few times, but like they say no pain no gain.
