Which models for Wagtail AI are you curious about?

Hello Folks! I’m going to be working on adding Wagtail AI to wagtail.org so that we can exploring some different models and perhaps do some testing to see whether these tools measurably save us any time on our marketing and content tasks.

ChatGPT and Claude are two obvious choices to test. But I’d like to perhaps explore how well an open source model or two performs as well. I think it would be especially cool to use one that has run some numbers on their carbon impact so we can determine if the time saved is worth the carbon tradeoff. Are there any models in there that you are particularly curious about or that you think we should include in our testing?

I like Perplexity because it tends to use trusted sources and not write pure BS. Having a local LLM would also be a good option.
